Re: To bring an end to the Tolkki vs Lehtiniemi scandal
I got a bit tired of reading at the middle of Tolkki's version of the story, but I do belive him.
I mean... Gus seems to have no problems with Tolkki anymore, so it's just this guy who's name I can't even remember. And he's mad because of some spam posts here in Stratoforum?
What is he 14?...
And what's with that IP crap he's saying? Seriously... the police?...
OH I KNOW!!!
HE BACKTRACED IT!!!!!!!!!!

But seriously, I really don't even care. I'm more interested on what Tolkki will do with this "Super Power Metal Band"... I don't really care if he played or not the solos in AoA and Trinity. It's not like RR was the only thing in TT's career, so I think there's much more to his art and music than just these last 3 albums. I incist. I'm so curious about his new project. As he and Gus are in good terms, I think it is time to move on to future projects.

I agree. All those big words really threw me off too. And don't get me started on those annoying symbols they keep throwing around ;.,"!?:.

All these logical arguments and rational judgments give me such a piercing headache. What do they take me for, some kind of detective? I think its best that we skim his posts and give him the benefit of the doubt, because he has a pure heart and is attuned to the beauties of nature like gazelles, dolphins, salamanders, and frogs. He's nothing but a kind old Grandpa who so dearly yearns to share his art with us, and anyone who criticizes him is a bloodthirsty parasite who probably voted for Christine O'Donnell!!

Tolkki could commit mass murder and it would be 100% cool.
What he SHOULD be doing is running for some kind of political office so he can make a difference in the whole wide world, not just to thousands of fanatic spamming fans!

Re: To bring an end to the Tolkki vs Lehtiniemi scandal
Here we can agree; I definitely don't care if he faked the solos or not. That is a problem for the RR guys to sort out. But based on Tolkki's shady past (faked stabbing, fake guitar contest, ripping off the Strato guys, fake Saana master theft), any rational person would at least consider that its possible (if not likely). But seriously, I really don't even care. I'm more interested on what Tolkki will do with this "Super Power Metal Band"... I don't really care if he played or not the solos in AoA and Trinity.
Take this for instance.
What a backwards line of reasoning. Instead of saying, "ahh...his story is consistent with what we already know", we assume that he has been digging through old posts for two years to develop a believable lie.Rebel wrote:the comment that loses it for me is that he "was promised payment in two guitars, gave me one, then tried to buy it back because of a fan in spain". It sounds like this has been reading the forums for awhile, and knows enough to make up a story that fits Timo's "insanity."
I wish these threads would get moved to Flames&Chaos. That is what they are, after all. I don't think this has anything to do with Stratovarius.

Again: I don't really care about TT's silly problems. The music is what brings us here, and for what its worth, his music is still pretty good. I'm just losing faith in humanity by reading the fans reactions.

How anyone could give TT the benefit of the doubt after all the BS he's pulled is beyond me. I'll give him this though: he knows how to word his statements to pull the heartstrings of the more gullible element of fan society.

I think with this new project/band he has redeemed himself quite a bit!ggonza43 wrote:No matter what Timo says, I think nobody can see him the same way we used to some while agoRebel wrote:the comment that loses it for me is that he "was promised payment in two guitars, gave me one, then tried to buy it back because of a fan in spain". At this point of my life, and with all the proofs he gave us along his life...Would you believe him? I don't wish evil to anyone, I'm being realistic. Let's hope this time the project turns out OKbrowneyedgirl wrote:I think with this new project/band he has redeemed himself quite a bit!ggonza43 wrote:No matter what Timo says, I think nobody can see him the same way we used to some while agoRebel wrote:the comment that loses it for me is that he "was promised payment in two guitars, gave me one, then tried to buy it back because of a fan in spain".
