Stratovarius will be playing at Jaxx in West Springfield, VA on September 19th 2005. According to the venue's website, anyway.

STRATOVARIUS have announced two more live dates in the U.S. to coincide with their appearance at the ProgPower Festival 2005. Their schedule is now as follows:

September

16-17 at Earthlink Live in Atlanta, GA (ProgPower VI)

19 at Jaxx in Springfield, VA @ Jaxx

21 at B.B. King's in New York, NY @ B.B. Kings



Two national acts are expected to be announced as support soon. A local band will open at each show.

I really wanna know who there getting to tour with them, im already buying my ticket saturday morning. but, for a local band, if they get someone in the chicago area, eh, well lets say, the only good power metal band that i know in the area is 1200 miles away.

I think: no.
If they tour in the whole American continent, then it will long for about 4-5 months. And after that, they will need some rest, so I bet, it will start in march, as the Elements Tour 2003 did.

Stratovarius play in brasil in 2003, in 2005 the strato have to play here in brasil in a south american tour i don't now, but have to come here. PLEASE!!!!

According to Blabbermouth, Santa Ana (Oct. 9) and West Hollywood (Oct. 10) in California have been added to the bill. Into Eternity are apparently going to support.

I just saw that too and being from Southern California not 30 minutes from both concerts I have had my dreams come true....im not sure if im going to be able to sleep tonight with so much anticipation for something that still half a year away!!...lol...o well...Can't wait!!!...

Currently on tour with Amorphis in support of their 2004 release
"Buried In Oblivion", Canada’s Into Eternity have been added to Stratovarius’
fall tour package. Vocalist/lead guitarist Tim Roth commented, "We are
really excited to be touring with Stratovarius and see this as an ideal
package. We will be playing in front of a completely new audience, one
for which we haven’t had the opportunity to play. All of us have been
Stratovarius fans for years. We are fans of Tolkki’s guitar playing,
Kotipelto’s voice, and also of Jens Johansson (keyboards) ever since he
played with Yngwie Malmsteen. We met Kotipelto at ProgPower USA V last
year and we begged him to take Into Eternity on tour, and now it’s a
reality."
