Cliff, I wish you would decide whether to support Strato or take the piss....

But laughing about some little thing is not a bad thing neither. (in that case, it is the "pop killer" name and the name of this producer)
This is wrong
Re: Maniac Dance Single
Indeed, there was a whole thread of covers like this on DT forum, I could hardly breathe after reading that I was laughing my ass off ;p

Oh, I agree, but when it comes to female singers, in this Male-dominated Society, other things are taken into account that create success.Dave wrote:her voice is terrible..

Maybe the Disco Era was a Happy one for Tolkki, and he is trying to re-live it

Well, the 80s era of Music was very appealing, IMO.

Re: Maniac Dance Single
there is even cover, but I'm sure the official webpage will be the last one to publish news about it. After today's 'news' about Jari, I wonder what is the aim of this webpage...?

I think today Jens is the only one who can update the page, and as we know he must be pretty busy right now.Electric Eye wrote: yeah, maybe, but this forum is 'too' livelysince we can find here some news before they are oficially confirmed

Re: Maniac Dance Single
I doubt the demo will be the one with Miss K., as I'm sure the band would like to put behind themselves that "moment of insanity". Besides, it would confuse the hell out of fans who maybe are not as much "in the loop" as we are and had no idea Miss K. ever existed, and assume that the band has always been the lineup that it was on the Elements albums, and now.

Re: Maniac Dance Single
True, but like I said, I don't see where this would fit in to the current, reunited lineup. We can't assume that every Stratofan comes to Stratoforum and knows the whole story about Miss K. There would be some out there who would hear her voice and be like, "what the hell is this?" I strongly feel that it will be the demo version with Timo K's voice instead. It makes more sense. If they ever do release Miss K. stuff, I imagine it will be for some kind of box set, band history compilation, etc.
Re: Maniac Dance Single
Actually, I think the "Maniac Dance demo" won't feature any vocals at all.brought2ubyletterC wrote:True, but like I said, I don't see where this would fit in to the current, reunited lineup. Just look at the description - (M: Timo Tolkki)
M stands for Music.. the L on the other songs' descriptions, on the other hand, goes for Lyrics.
Since no one was given credit for the lyrics on the demo, I guess there are no lyrics to be
given credit for, and hence, no singing, or any singer at all for that part.
