Well, that depends. Guys like Hallford, U.D.O. or Coverdale sound still great in the studio but they suck horribly live.

Klaus Meine though is an exception. He still sounds great, in studio and live! And that's not just me. It's objective! It's the TRUTH! And there's no doubt about it! :x

Apart from kidding though, he still kicks ass. 8)

Udo and Halford doesn't sound horrible live. I have seen both these guys recentley. I can agree with Coverdale.. saw Whitesnake 2008. By the way very overrated band too...

Oh come on!
Listen to Mastercutor live or the Priest Live DVD from the 2005 tour and then listen to "Stayign A Life" from Accept and and old Judas Priest live album.

And Whitesnake are a great band. I love the new album.

Horrible is not right word... They were once better yes. Ofcourse he sounds better on Stayin a life.. amazing livealbum by the way. But when you see the bands live on stage it doesn't bother that much. I saw U.D.O on the mastercutor tour, simply amazing show.

Because in most countrys it is Illegal I guess?

In some countries downloading is not illegal; sharing is.

In any case, even if it's illegal, you can still disagree with copyright laws. And then there's the matter of ownership. Can consumers ever really be owners of the CDs they pay for?

EDIT: Btw, if you ever made photocopies of a book, journal article, etc. because you needed material for your studies or for whatever reason, you have committed piracy. The books and articles are copyrighted and authors don't receive a single cent for those copies. Why is it that this issue is so important in the music and movie industries but widely accepted as the "natural" thing to do with books? If all of you who say that you will buy such and such CD when it comes out are not hypocrites, then you should also buy the books and articles you need. On the other hand, if you still think that making photocopies represents an acceptable behaviour, stop giving speeches about "ethical conduct" regarding illegal downloads of music and movies.

I have to disagree with you... ever since Balls to Picasso I cannot stand his voice. Even on the records he sounds bad. Too bad I used to love Iron maiden.

I LOVE Gather the faithful!!! This album has so many great influences...I discovered the band in june and there were just some information that it is janis new band and TK is vocalist and so on...so i was getting crazy and just wanted to listen to samples. And the day where all of us got the chance to listen to samples was just amazing! It was like that: My queen of winter? Very nice melody and it reminds me of Victorias secret from Sonata. More than friends? AWESOME, just GODLIKE!!! Into the blue? Omg such an emotional ballad and a chorus with 2 amazing parts. And in the end Dawn of Solace...I screamed out all my hapiness...This song is one of the best songs I have ever listened to, good vibes, great vocals, perfect melodies, just everything!
And for now i am listening to Gather the faithful day by day and it is not getting boring or something like that. It grows each time stronger and atm it's the album of the year but The days of grays is still coming. :P

If you're implying that Koti sounds better on this than on Polaris then yes, I think so too.

How DARE You? Balls to the Wall is propably one of the best songs written by Accept! I call blasphemy on that statement! Longe live Accept! Longe live U.D.O.! Long live the bands who were the founding fathers of German Heavy Metal!

I am a big fan of Accept and U.D.O. I just don't like that song...

I'm VERY dissapointed by Cain's Offering...
The band has most amazing musicians, but the album never got into me as Episode or ever 4th Dimention. Or Ecliptica and Reckoning Night.
There's not a killer song on it... It feels very full of complex sounds but not a real power on it...
Reminds me a bit of DragonForce...
I bet Sonata's new album will be better.

The same here, not in all the songs but more or less I see it like this.

I think I prefer TK's voice in GTF. Reminds me Fourth Dimension/Episode/Visions/Destiny/Inifnity era more or less.

Polaris reminds me more Stratovarius selftitled/Kotipelto band era.

I mean vocally.
