Just curious to see if there was a video that is planned or already for this awesome single. I know that Jorg is out for a little bit and the industry these days are not putting out enough for videos. But maybe they had it made before Jorg went out. Just Curious

Hehe, I will. I'm also searching everywhere for a download link, but still nothing...Maybe because it was just released in Finland only, and I think that when it reaches the worldwideness , in Novemeber 27th will be available

What a great song. I have a new respect for Pelicans.

This is really what power metal is supposed to be.
Kakko and Sammet should give this a good long listen.

Though, I wish there were longer periods where Timo isn't singing. It almost feels like a 6 minute song condensed into a 4 minute one, but hey, its the single...

In summary: this kicks ass, but I like Infernal Maze considerably more. Its simply perfect, and the instrumental parts of New-Strato are working very well. The longer songs on Elysium will be be the best!

Well, lately YouTube is beign such a dick that they block almost every video I upload (that, and the fact that in my channel I have every Strato song uploaded, without asking permission to any discographic company). With "Polaris" happened that, but thank God I still have those videos...And only because I uploaded the songs a week after the CD leaked. So I want to wait a little more before risking my channel and get it blocked or deleted

and you tube is the one being a dick??? the record you bought belongs to you, the intellectual property doesnt...someday people will value music like a grande dame instead of a hooker.

Without a chance to listen to the songs on YT, noone buys albums.

What the hell are you talking about? I have no commercial intentions when uploaded those vids, theye were just for entertaining purpose...In fact, if you see any of those, I don't prompt anyone to illegally download it and not buy the original CD (in fact, that's their choice). We've had this argument before, and even though I listen first to the leaked album of a band, and especially Stratovarius, I still order the CD and listen to it every single day. So before starting judging me, you should first know me a little bit
Besides, who the hell is talking about intellectual property? I DON'T OWN ANY MUSIC, NO ONE DOES! That's what the people at YT should bear in mind

Actually, there are some people that offer somw kind of "arrangement" in order to make publicity of their web pages, and some other marketing stuff I don't understand. I got that from someone a while ago, here's what he said:

I think that the situation with YouTube is kind of ridiculous.. it's not like people have any way to make money off of uploading those videos.

even to certificate a gold album and a platinium album the numbers of sales are lower today that they were back in the 80s.

I'm with adrian on this one, with all this piratism going on nowdays there is no way albums can be selling more now then before the internet.

Well, it totally depends. But if this really is the problem, what can you do? Internet turned to be the second option when coming to buy any kind of stuffs, now even CDs. iTunes is one of the best way to avoid piracy and illegal downloads for those who want it; buying the CD via internet is another way; and also I have to admit that there are those who immorally have the music without purchasing it...But what can you do? Blow up internet? Sadly this is modern times, and if you can't cope with this, I'm really sorry

I can cope with it just fine. It's just a tad silly if someone likes a band and doesn't support them via purchasing the album.

And no matter how famous or big you are, album sales aren't as big as they used to be. I like to buy songs via iTunes, but also order CDs via web, and even going into music stores...I guess nobody here does that

Actually I always try and buy the album, I like to support my favorite bands in any way that I can, don't get me wrong I'm not against downloading however I do say if you can afford to buy the album, buy it

And what? If you don't like the album, that'd be one bad purchase
