ggonza43 wrote:Hehe, I will. I'm also searching everywhere for a download link, but still nothing...Maybe because it was just released in Finland only, and I think that when it reaches the worldwideness, in Novemeber 27th will be available
Nicely done!!
Hehe, anyway I haven't uploaded it, some other dude has. I'm not risking my channel until January next yearAAAAAAAAAA wrote:Nicely done!!
What a great song. I have a new respect for Pelicans.
This is really what power metal is supposed to be.
Kakko and Sammet should give this a good long listen.
Though, I wish there were longer periods where Timo isn't singing. It almost feels like a 6 minute song condensed into a 4 minute one, but hey, its the single...
In summary: this kicks ass, but I like Infernal Maze considerably more. Its simply perfect, and the instrumental parts of New-Strato are working very well. The longer songs on Elysium will be be the best!

Well, lately YouTube is beign such a dick that they block almost every video I upload (that, and the fact that in my channel I have every Strato song uploaded, without asking permission to any discographic company). With "Polaris" happened that, but thank God I still have those videos...And only because I uploaded the songs a week after the CD leaked. So I want to wait a little more before risking my channel and get it blocked or deletedBalu wrote:What's the risk?
Ear only asked me politely to take down the Polaris Live stuff. And I had to. >.>
and you tube is the one being a dick??? the record you bought belongs to you, the intellectual property doesnt...someday people will value music like a grande dame instead of a hooker.ggonza43 wrote:Well, lately YouTube is beign such a dick that they block almost every video I upload (that, and the fact that in my channel I have every Strato song uploaded, without asking permission to any discographic company). Without a chance to listen to the songs on YT, noone buys albums.adrian9 wrote:and you tube is the one being a dick??? the record you bought belongs to you, the intellectual property doesnt...someday people will value music like a grande dame instead of a hooker.ggonza43 wrote:Well, lately YouTube is beign such a dick that they block almost every video I upload (that, and the fact that in my channel I have every Strato song uploaded, without asking permission to any discographic company). Ever thought that you're the one who talks shit? : Dadrian9 wrote:people bought more albums before internet ....stop talking shit balu for real....is like talking to a kid.
What the hell are you talking about? I have no commercial intentions when uploaded those vids, theye were just for entertaining purpose...In fact, if you see any of those, I don't prompt anyone to illegally download it and not buy the original CD (in fact, that's their choice). We've had this argument before, and even though I listen first to the leaked album of a band, and especially Stratovarius, I still order the CD and listen to it every single day. So before starting judging me, you should first know me a little bitadrian9 wrote:and you tube is the one being a dick??? the record you bought belongs to you, the intellectual property doesnt...someday people will value music like a grande dame instead of a hooker.
Actually, there are some people that offer somw kind of "arrangement" in order to make publicity of their web pages, and some other marketing stuff I don't understand. I got that from someone a while ago, here's what he said:Kecos wrote:I think that the situation with YouTube is kind of ridiculous.. it's not like people have any way to make money off of uploading those videos.
Of course, this has nothing to do concerning the album itself or any other thing related, but as this guys PMs me, it can happen to anyone(...)I noticed that within your description box, you dont seem to have a link? And I was wondering if you would be interested in placing a link to my personal website within that box in return for some money?
I would say putting the link in the box will take no more than 30 seconds, and I will be able to provide you with instructions. After this, I can pay you asap using paypal, or any other trusted source you want!
hit an all time high? I dont believe this...must be compared to recent years.Kecos wrote:Yes, albums, but according to the LA Times:adrian9 wrote:people bought more albums before internet ....stop talking shit balu for real....is like talking to a kid.
"Overall U.S. music purchases hit an all-time-high in 2009, as sales of albums, singles, digital tracks and music videos topped 1.5 billion for the second consecutive year, according to year-end data released today from Nielsen SoundScan."
