I think we all agree that Ear Music is a really good label for Stratovarius.

They promote the band well and seems that the band have a lot of artistical freedom. It is a label that trusted in Stratovarius when they were in an strange moment and that's awesome. So, I have nothing agains the label.

But, what about the Vinyl versions? Am I the only one who gets pissed off every time I see that in the damned vinyl there are songs that we'll never listen?
I mean, how many people is nowadays playing vinyls vs. cd?
I think there are, but the vast majority sees this unconfortable and not very interesting nowadays.

I mean, what's the point of make some songs in the vinyl and not release them in the cd¿?
I can understad the different versions, cause it's normal, today all the bands release different versions and deluxe editions, etc, etc.

But do you remember "Second Sight" ? that song is lost, nobody talks about this song. It is complete disaster to have this song almost forgotten because of that. I heard that song just a few times in youtube cause I don't have vinyl player and in the case I had one, I want it into my cd to listen to it in the car, sound system, ipod, etc, etc.

Now, it's gonna be TWO SONGS. I think that is a waste, that's very bad. These two songs will be almost non-existant for the fans.

I want to make this poll to see if people thinks the same or I am the only one angry with that decisions which I think are bad for the band and for the fans.

I really hope they won't release in future albums these kind of vynil/cd versions.

If somebody wants the whole album in vinyl, buy it, but do not release this strange mix.

Well to be fair, Second Sight is available on CD (Japanese edition). The remix is available on vinyl only. I do think it's an annoyance though. I would prefer something like this:

Basic release
Digipack +1 bonus
Vinyl release +2 bonus (digipack song + 1 other)
Japan edition +2 bonus (different from digi/vinyl bonus)
Collector edition, basic + all bonus + demos

Then I can just buy collector and have all songs in high quality, instead of buying one and downloading what I miss.

Well, I wouldn't say the same with "Ride Like The Wind"; although it was a japanese bonus track, many fans have at least heard the song once. With "Second Sight" I barely remember how it sounded

Vynil is only for collectors, it's sad to see a song of your favourite band been included only in a thing you could only listen if you buy a player for that kind of things. Overall, it'll cost you hell a lot more if they only include that song in a regular or special edition of the CD but that you still can't afford. But who am I to talk about this anyway? But it is bad move imo cause if you release songs that almost nobody is gonna listen, what's the point¿? Just to sell some vinyls? Then, increase a little bit the deluxe edition and add that songs. Anyway seems that they want to sell as many editions as they can, and they just ignore if people will be able to listen to the songs or not. Sad.

Yes but I hope Stratovarius have something to say here. Mainly cause it's really easy to deal with this, just downloading the songs and that's not good for the band.

There were so many other good and "lost songs on it too. For example When the Night Meets the Day.

I would buy all Intermission albums they release no matter what.
