Nice¿? It is a completely stupid and nonsense review. Not because say good or bad things, just because it's all nonsense (well, like almost all reviews).Rage1979 wrote: Nice review here!

I agree most of it.

Impressive review, overall out of 10 how would you qualify this album? I'd also like to contribute with one or two thoughts I had while reading it: I would compare "Move The Mountain" with songs like "Years Go By", and even "Coming Home" from which I've found strong similarities with MTM (Also "The Land Of Ice And Snow", but I think they have a different atmosphere and feeling while playing them). And also, am I the only who thinks that the sustained note TK sings at 10:40 of "Elysium" is one of the longest and best made since the last chorus of "Shattered"? For those who still claim that TK has lost it, you should start listening to this album: The improvement in his voice is considerably marvelous

Agreed, very good review!
Apparently in New-Strato World, mountains are the perfect topic for ballads
Maiden has made the only succesful song about running to a hill...Who on Earth would think a hill is good for a songAAAAAAAAAA wrote:...hills (and running to them)...
Explain to me why a mountain is so much more spectacular and deserving of a song, than a hill.ggonza43 wrote:Maiden has made the only succesful song about running to a hill...Who on Earth would think a hill is good for a songAAAAAAAAAA wrote:...hills (and running to them)...?

I'm not really sure if I want to do a ranking system because for now, I'm sticking with albums I like. When I open up to more general music, I'll probably do a system of "Recommend/Not Recommend" but the 10 point system can be pretty worthless.ggonza43 wrote:Impressive review, overall out of 10 how would you qualify this album? "The seemingly perpetual intrigues between Timo Tolkki and his old bandmates and the lamentable ‘Stratovarius (2005), made my interest in the Finnish five drop to the absolute zero years ago. The mediocre album ‘Polaris’ (2009) could not bring back any interest in Stratovarius: the too simple song structures, the lower pace and the absence of flashy guitar and keyboard duels made that the band was not even a shadow of their own past.
Forget the misery of recent years: with 'Elysium' Stratovarius is fully back! (...)
What are you, the forum lawyer?ggonza43 wrote:"Valley Of The Damned" by Dragonforce, you know, before becoming into the shittines it is now. And with mountains? I only have at the moment both Strato's song and "Misty Mountain Hop" by Led Zep. And with hills...Better luck next time
StratoVolcano, just imagine how would be a Matias solo for this songNeverendingAbyss wrote:You should change your username to SongStatistics.
That was beautiful!![]()
I'm surprised Stratovarius hasn't composed a song called Stratovolcano.
I assume you mean another instrumental like the old days? Seeming as though most instrumentals have 'Strato' at the start.NeverendingAbyss wrote:I'm surprised Stratovarius hasn't composed a song called Stratovolcano.
I LOVE THIS BAND! And the song of courseAAAAAAAAAA wrote:
