Why not to record a Polaris+Elisium live?

All the songs from these cds played live in an special concert in a really perfect venue with professional cameras. Then sell the DVD/Blu ray+ 2 live CD.

That could be the one of the most epic moments of Stratovarius discography.

WE NEED NEW MATERIAL, not just classics. Cause you know, in Polaris and Elysium there are potential classics.

I got reminded of this when I re-watched Forging the Land of Thousand Lakes yesterday, and you're so damn right, this would indeed be absolutely amazing!

Just imagine a show with Polaris and Elysium (and the song Elysium!!!) and the bonus tracks and guitar/bass/keys/drums solos andandandandandand... :luv1:

But I think the most likely thing would be a DVD containing new songs Forever is Today, Winter Skies, Deep Unknown, Higher we Go, Darkest Hours, Infernal Maze, Under Flaming Skies, Event Horizon, and Elysium (But probably 2-3 of those songs wouldn't make it) and then as many classics as they can shoehorn in

Only thing we need is a DVD with the new line-up. I don't care if it's a show performing the whole "Dreamspace" and "Twilight Time" together; I want Matias

This is a great idea...but highly unlikely I think.

I think that every album usually contains songs that are not really meant for being played live. Not saying they can't play them but the realization of some songs is more difficult than with others...

Agree that this is more likely.
But to be honest I think that a DVD is still quite a bit away.
