So, being that most of you have heard the Symfonia album, and all its guitar solos, do you think he played the guitar solos on Trinity and In Paradisium is a continuation of these new techniques, or did that producer dude play them and Tolkki is just trying to mimic that style

The whole 'other guy played the solos' stuff was total bullshit anyway.

I don't believe he even exists. He is just a figment of my imagination. And Jens plays guitar for symfonia, and Blaze Bayley is the singer.

Tolkki CANNOT play trinity solos. They are too good for him, too skilled.

Rebel... with all my respect and even affection, how guitar solos on Trinity and In Paradisum are "of the same nature" according to you? Explain, please :)

As far as the speed, precision, technicality, and all that stuff, solos like on Pilgrim Road and Santiago are on the same level as Trinity.

Fine, bro, well, good for those who like Tolkki's job on In Paradisum  These controversies do not help much anyways :)

All he had was a comparison between a pair of YouTube videos, and that's too weak for me.

Nobody mentioned that guy engineered the guitars on Elysium? Maybe it's because nobody bought it and read the liner notes.

Anyway, who gives a damn fuck? First of all, that guy supposly wasnt paid nor credited on trinity... So, if this is true, it would be stupid enough to do it again in the new album... There are no videos of the other guy showing us any guitar playing... So how could this be true then? (you dont have to be a really good guitar player to be a really good guitar engineer)

Then Tolkki said he wanted something fresh for the solos... This is perfectly fine, but, when in his lifetime with stratovarius did something fresh?... Not even a fresh riff after 2000... So its really contradicting because some solos on trinity doesnt sound like tolkki at all...

By the way, is not sane just to bash everyone out everytime, but we have the right to know, as we have the right to lisen to whichever music we like... I dont like tolkki's new stuff... But I am greatfull he (and all the team) gave us good music for many years...
