Hello people I want to ask you a thing:
Do you have seen on internet the videos about the download or the streaming of Nemesis or something of similar before the release date?
Someone also posted that in some sites you can buy and receive the album before the release date.
So on YouTube there are a lot of fake videos of some bullshits that work on the site First Class Download or on sites with subscribing with money. They have 2 dollars or something of similar each time that someone subscribes AND when you are not registered you can see the file (for example Stratovarius - Nemesis) but when you are reistered the file there is not anymore LOL
WTF IS THIS?
Please to youtube users to remove the videos because give only confusion and send shit to Strato.
Anyway there are a lot of fake torrents, so Stratovarius are so famous? Mmm good but anyway there is only chaos on youtube a lot of videos of download only for one song or something of similar please clean the YouTube from this stinking shit

This is the way of the world today; even bands you would think have no following at all have fake torrents. Doesn't matter the level of Strato's fame, there will be people out there posting fake sh*t for people to download because they know someone out there wants it that badly. I guess it's their idea of fun?

Anyway, as much as we all want to hear the new album, it's always better to support the band and just buy the damn album when it's out for real!

Rebel said before, you can stream the album if you are a journalist from a special site. And each journalist gets a special code to stream it. But it doesn't have anything to do with those fake torrents and rar files with passwords with fake files in it.

It seems the album has leaked already. It's a shame that it happened so early. Makes me wonder if they can track the leaker with that new system.

Easily. Every stream and download is uniquely embedded with audio watermarks, usually more than 20 in a song. They're pretty much impossible to remove from the song as well, because while re-encoding might fuzz up one of the watermarks, to get all of them, you'd have to completely destroy sound quality.

Once Eagle Rock or Ear Music gets their hands on a leak, they just send it to the company that streamed the promo, and they're cooked.

The thing is, only people who responded to the interviews got the promo, and the only way to do interviews was over the phone, so any account that leaked is also tied to a phone number. That alone should scare off any major leaks, but of course, some people trust their friends when they shouldn't.

More likely is that the torrents with passwords are still fakes though, either viruses or some way for someone to make money.

Yeah the torrents probably are fake. But the file I stumbled upon definitely isn't. Wonder if I should send it to the record company..

Huh. My bitrate is 256. They let the journalists download the album January 31st. So someone must not have been very smart. I mean, I'm sure they're keeping their eyes out. I know that the record labels are being extremely protective of this album in particular, because the general consensus, between the band, the record label, and most of the critics, is that this is going to be HUGE. So I'm sure they'll be on it, and whoever leaked it will get blacklisted from future promos from pretty much anyone. It's a shame though, stuff like this is making the job of honest critics a lot more difficult.

I don't get promos from Nuclear Blast and I know the sites that do are really frustrated with them because of how difficult it is to work with them. We got offered Roadrunner promos about a year ago, but we'd only get them the Friday before the release, so we basically decided to not review Roadrunner, because downloading an album, getting it to the critic, then giving the person long enough to listen to it enough to be familiar with it, write a review they're happy with, then have it edited and posted was next to impossible in the time they gave us before the release.

Just a crappy situation all around. Has anyone confirmed that its real?

Eh. That's what I did with Elysium and Straight out of Hell. Of course I'll buy it, silly.

So glad I ordered this album. Strato, this is magic. I am in awe. Really. Speechless. What. A. Masterpiece.

For me....I buy both since they are my favorite band! Both cd and merchandise- and since I live in North America. I can't see them as often as say, for example, europe or asia

Cds will be enough. I'm not that desperate to buy a vinyl and it's shitty quality...
