Re: U.S. Tour
No I think it has to do with the difficulty these days of getting working papers to work in the US. If these guys go to the US their album either needs to chart really high or it has to be a huge tour for it to be truly profitable.
So no, no US tour.
So no, no US tour.

Ah, yes! You wonder why don't they come back to visit the never ending strip malls and cookie cutter people of America? And not to mention the work visas and low popularity and other touring bullshit. Strato are way too awesome of a band to even think of touring these united shit states.

Stratovarius actually toured the US in 2009 to support Polaris. That was the first (and last) time I ever saw them. I've been waiting patiently for them to return ever since... really hoping Nemesis allows them to come back here but I dunno. I thought they'd come back with Elysium but nope...

Wasn't that with Pagan's Mind? Incredible. One of my dreams, to see Pagan's mind with Stratovarius. I LOVE Pagan's Mind. You were very lucky and I suppose it was almost empty...And then we have here Stratovarius with Amaranthe...awesomeEmpathica1928 wrote:Stratovarius actually toured the US in 2009 to support Polaris. Yep, and tickets were 100 bucks after extra ticket fees and whatnot. Compared to other metal shows that people pay 20 - 30 bucks for.

Re: U.S. Tour
Strato hasn't been here since '09. I know, I've seen them every time they've come to Southern California.
They did do the 70,000 Tons of Metal Cruise last year, but that doesn't really count.
