I think we've had these in the past, and I may get a lot of shit by trolls but I don't care tbh.

Last week, I had the most horrible weekend in my life. I had a problem with a very dear person to me, and ended up in us taking some time away from one another. Through this whole fiasco, I've been listening to Will My Soul Ever Rest in Peace, Hunting High and Low, Against the Wind, Abandon, and more importantly Darkest Hours.

The band's music has been with me through this horrible weekend, empowering me, making me slightly stronger and remembering me that I can make it. Jens, if you read this, or any of the guys. Thank you... I'd be in much more pain right now if it wasn't for your music. And I'm doing much better now.

Yes, Stratovarius music does tend to be uplifting. I don't listen to my CDs as much as I used to and I need to get back into the habit of listening to Strato music every day like in the past.
@HA, I know what you mean. I used to be accused of being obsessed when I mentioned listening to Stratovarius music alot on this forum but like everything else all things must pass. Just ignore the people who would foolishly dare say anything smartass to you, HA. After all, they must like Strato alot themselves or they would not be here!

I think is safe to say that we all have been through hard times and went looking for shelter in music, strato have been really empowering in my low moments that thank god are left behind.

most amazing song to blast full volume when you are down?

In that old good times, even when Tolkki's atmosphere in the band made their music quite depressive at times, I always liked Stratovarius. Since their music became so positive after Tolkki's quit, i love it even more nowadays! Stratovarius' music is like a good medicine to me!
