matias kupiainen is impressive skilled with the guitar, really

jani is very skilled too

Both can do a huge great stuff sharing solos

only Both need cross styles and both can play all

and maybe jens have more air in his electronic fingers

Why Jani in Stratovarius?Sorry but I can't understand why,I like Jani,but Matias is ten thousand time better than him in writing and playing yet more versatile and "varius" and another guitarist in a 5 members based power metal band is not the thing I(maybe we)would like to see.
So the guy have to stay out of the band.

On a serious note, I like Matias and Jani, they're really talented, but I think both are really happy and well placed in their current positions. Jani is a great guitarist and song/lyrics writer but I think just lyrics writing alongside Stratovarius is good for him. Maybe he will do some other stuff besides that in the future but I can't see him too clearly joining them.

I'm still not sure what you're saying, but Jani is unlikely to be asked to join the band, given that the band already has no problems making music in the studio, or reproducing it live. Lauri is an extremely talented bassist, that is able to fill the space that a rhythm guitarist typically would, and obviously Matias is plenty talented in studio. Adding another member means another voice complicating their decision making process, and everyone makes about 16% less money if they add a 6th member, (Assuming the money is split equally)

I agree.... Sir kupiainen is the best metal rythm guitar that i never ear in my short time of googles in this community

lauri is good but i cant say nothing about he why I'm not bassist. All say that he is excelent and i take the words of others bassist

sir jani have the suficient skill and heart to build the 2 sonata arctica if he want

I don't think having two guitarists in Strato would be the best idea. Jens plays too large of a role in the melodies and overall sound; if you put Jani in there, either he, Jens and Matias are going to have to fight to stay on top of each other, or Lauri disappears from the equation.

Although I do want more collaborations with TK! I'd even pay the ridiculous $40 that imports usually are on Amazon if they're not distributed in North America.

Cain's Offering II will be released in the first half of next year, which is gonna be incredible. I don't really think Jani will join Stratovarius though...two guitarists and one keyboard guru is just too much. Stratovarius would start sounding like King Crimson or something

Jens brother Anders has left Hammerfall. He and Rolf together, would be a heavy addition!
