Not knowing what the new album will bring, what would you want Strato to play if they were to give a concert near you tomorrow?

I'd personally ove a mix between classics, stuff we don't hear live and a lot of new stuff like:

I wonder if the Emancipation Suites would work in a live show. Sure, you always have calm phases in a show with slow songs and ballads at one or the other point, and they're great pieces of work, but they would really slow things and mood down... I think it's music you really have to give your whole attention to while listening to really enjoy it, that's not easy to get for nearly ten minutes in a power metal live show Especially if you already had Elysium before
But what do I know. Just wondering.

I'm having the same doubts about the Emancipation Suites. I just absolutely love those pieces. I can already hear the audience sing EMANCIPATION! and DETERMINATION! in the chorus.

And the Suites remind me of Babylon, which is another song I'd desperately want to hear live once. The throbbing, slow rhythm just gives me an eargasm.

I would just like to hear Elysium live once.

its amazing how people dismiss almost entirely the songs from visions, paradise anyone, visions the most epic strato song ever?
its super hard to convey all the good strato song in one set list, it should be done something like an evening with stratovarius, a la dream theater, and please bring back S.O.S.

I've heard Paradise more than enough. And the way TK sings it these days doesn't make it better for me. Same with S.O.S., another song they shouldn't try anymore.

That setlist I posted is my dream list because it contains enough classics and also incorporates new material. There's just as much epicness and awesomeness in the new material. If only it would be played live.

It's all about the voice too. I'd love to hear more of Elements 1 but there's no way he's hitting those notes anytime soon. Although Soul of a Vagabond should still be reachable, and Elements 2 is still on the table.

That being said, if not Elysium live, I at least want to hear a few more songs from the album. Infernal Maze, Game Never Ends, Event Horizon!

A new refresh songs "Live" should be welcome...

Some Polaris and Elysium songs would be nice to listen + some differents songs can be sang from the old albums like for example : Ride like the wind, Playing with fire, Legions, Twilight symphony...why not to change?

I agree completely Patricia. Of course a concert needs some classic songs that everyone knows. But Strato kind of allways plays them all. Forever, Speed of Light, Black Diamond, Hunting High and Low, Eagleheart, etc.

I believe it'll be fine to play two of those and switch the others around with less played stuff. There's a lot of good songs on Fourth Dimension, Destiny and Infinite that we never hear live. Same goes for the Elements albums.

Tune them down like they do with everything in recent live shows so TK doesn't have to kill himself trying to sing. Add songs of the post-Tolkki albums and WHAM! There's a refreshing setlist!

I've been listening to Awaken the Giant and I really feel like the part from 4 minutes on is just asking for Timo to get the audience to start clapping along with him.
