Hello, everyone! I'm a new fan of Strato and did not go through the whole forum and all the stuff connected with the band and Koti himself yet. So can anyone help me answer the question why this man does not have a wife/girlfriend? I know he had a girlfriend, but it was quite a few years ago.
1. Is it like he's not liked by women? (what I've observed e. g. on facebook is that he is)
2. Did he choose himself to be alone?
Do you guys know anything about it?

(3. Is it just that he did not meet ME yet? )

I don't want to sound like a nosy parker but Timo became my main interest after I saw Strato live (fine, after our eyes met and I saw a beautiful soul) and well.. get ready for this kind of stupid questions from me

as far as I recall he was in a long term relationship (with a woman of course) but after that break up ...maybe 2005?...I think he decided to go solo...why...gods only knows.

In all seriousness, yes. If you saw his behind the scenes of the making of his album Coldness, along with maybe some interviews, he said the breakup was in 2005, which coincided with Stratovarius' turmoil, hence why the album Coldness has such a negative vibe (or so he says in interviews)

Ignore him on that, he's making it up. Kotipelto said he had a girlfriend until like 2005, or so he says in interviews, but he or any of the band members haven't said anything of that kind of stuff recently.

To be honest if they end up gay for each other I'm chill with it. They get along pretty well it seems, and they make some cool music.

If you really wanna know what how I feel, I think his personal life and/or relationships are not of our concern.

We follow him as fans and enjoy his singing, but starting to speculate about his personal life? That's disrespectful imo... then again this is the Stratoforum, so I won't say I'm surprised or anything.

You know if someone was being interested in my private life and I wouldn't like this person to know anything I would be like "Ok, speculate and have fun, I don't care". I think Timo does not visit this forum anyway (no wonder) and that's basically why I dared to start this kind of topic.

He doesn't visit here often, but on some occasions he does (Jens more than Timo though). Even if he doesn't see it, Jens probably would and spout some odd shit about it.

Coldness is my favorite koti album, probably I got all the info from that era, that gives you an idea of how long it takes to get news from this guys.
