Top 10 Stratovarius songs of the new era

New era being Polaris, Elysium, Nemesis, and Eternal. I absolutely love this band and each album they've released since Polaris has been better than the last. Eternal is honestly my favorite album next to Episode.

Strong agree on Eternal! It's probably my third favorite right now after Elements, Pt. 1 and Nemesis.

Great picks, nice mention of the bonus songs! I was very tempted to put Giants on the list - that is an amazing song - but I decided not to, for fear of jumping down the bonus track rabbit hole...
Stratovarius does some great ballads; If The Story Is Over is really high on my list of favorite sad Strato songs. Love that whistling.

Stratovarius does some great ballads; If The Story Is Over is really high on my list of favorite sad Strato songs. Love that whistling.
They've really come far with their bonus tracks. It's no longer just "songs Timo Kotipelto had the audacity to think belonged on a Timo Tolkki record". And the ballads are fantastic as well.
But let's hear it - other than Giants, what would be your top 3 picks for new era bonus tracks?

Other than Giants, I'd have to say Kill It With Fire, Fireborn, and Endless Forest. KIWF reminds me of Cold Winter Nights, lyrically. Fireborn is just badass from start to finish with an excellent hook, and Endless Forest is a quirky, calming instrumental that I just love (plus it sounds like something out of a 16-bit RPG, like a quiet forest village theme).

I agree with all of those, especially Endless Forest - but for some reason KIWF always made me think more of Ride Like the Wind.

Man, I put on some Elysium tunes today and that album is SO good. Infernal Maze is excellent, I love Timo's voice in that one. The beginning still weirds me out a bit, I'm not so sure it fits the rest of the song that follows, but it is still a really cool and nice musical section.
Feeding the Fire is one of my favorites on Eternal. The chorus is so classic Stratovarius, the chorus really sinks its hooks into your brain and won't let go. Been stuck in my head all week actually.

Okay I'm going to try again.. I started an answer few dats ago but miserably failed to choose only ten. I also sadly don't know any bonus tracks well, I wish I had the right album versions. :c (I have the ones from Nemesis at least )

Eternal from start to finish. I love the album, start to finish. You could probably even add Giants and have it be a Top 11.

Well this is not easy. Not in any particular order, except for Elysium being number one. The list is a mix of what I used to listen a lot in the past and what I prefer today. Many could be replaced here and there I guess.
