How long until reunion happens.

here's a debate that started a while ago on other topic but is worth getting back at guessing now.

How long until a classic-era strato reunion tour?

back in 2017 my guess:

how long until a Stratovarius reunion? Does anyone want to bet?

I'm thinking less than five years.

I stick to my original five years time table and by reunion I mean either album, tour or both.

how about you? is a reunion in the works?

Honestly given TT's latest work I don't want him to touch the next Strato album. The new Avalon record might change that opinion though

I think there may be a tour together not too far in the future, and maybe a song together (like Pumpkins United). Glad to see they're in good terms.

I think it depends of how Tt is doing physically meaning can he still perform in the level the band needs? if he can then i'm in on the reunion tour

I think this is the only scenario that would make sense, for both, TT and Strato.

I'm not sure about a full Reunion tour. I worry about rising old tensions or something becoming unnecessarily harder as the tour progresses.

What I think would work would be something like... three special shows in Helsinki with a very special set list that focuses on the Tolkki era. You then record the three shows and compile the best songs to make a full concert DVD thing. You can then put that on physical media or on-demand services.

if it happens on 2021 that would make my guess of 5 years quite on the mark! which is actually fucking scary, I guess is true that the devil is wiser for being old than for being evil.

I like this idea and I truly hope that TT has found finally peace with himself and with the current Strato camp.

Still the most valid question is what is TT's mental and physical health to handle the pressure that touring with large organisation brings and what's his current guitar playing shape when it comes to playing live neoclassical power metal. His few solo gigs few years ago were really painful to watch.
