I think that, like an special album with so rare tracks, it's OK. The b-sides are b-sides exactly because they don't have the same quality of the songs that are in the albuns, so, it's something normal that the fans don't like it as they like Visions or Episode. But I really like it, my favourites are WMSERIP (great!), WAWH,WTNMTD, KTF, CWN, WCAS, and the best, HHAL live.
Hey, do you believe that only yesterday I discovered that special things, screensavers, photos...? This is something very nice in the album, too.

Personally, I think INTERMISSION is a very good album! I like many of the songs on it, and think it is a creative compilation.
This album was released during Strato's litle break to keep us fans satisfied until they got themselves back together, and recorded another major studio album!
I like their style!

I hoe another INTERMISSION-type album is released soon--BUT, please, Strato, no more 3 year breaks! Of course, us fans would wait for you guys loyally, if such an event, heaven forbid, would ever take place again!!!

First Strato release I ever bought actually, got me introduced to their music and then I went from there. So for me it is very good.

I think Intermission is awesome, because of its variety opposite the other Strato Cds!

It's OK as it is. I like the idea of getting all the bonus tracks on one cd. Good one. Yet, there's very funny thing about it: correct if I'm wrong, but there is a special or japanese edition of Intermission containing an additional demo song? Well that's just a bad joke from NB.

However, while the cd consists mostly of balladas, whenever they're good or not, the whole cd lacks the power and I get border very quickly. I rarly listen to it as whole.

I personally like it, but I guess it could be considered a "for fans only" release.

It's simply excellent!
My favourite songs are:
- Will my Soul ever rest in Peace?
- What can I say?
- Dream with me
- Requiem
The letters inside the booklet are touching... :~(

Intermission is great! more Johansson songs which makes for a better album in my mind. Also the "I Surrender" cover is awesome!

I thought Kill The King was the best cover---Tolkki still has that beautiful voice!

But, Falling into Fantasy, Will my Soul ever Rest in Peace, and The Curtains are Falling, &Requeim, are GREAT, also!
I love this Album!

Intermission IS a VERY GREAT album!
It contains very nice songs - like "It's A Mystery", "Keep The Flame", "The Curtains Are Falling", "Will My Soul Ever Rest In Peace", "I Surrender" Live, "Why Are We Here", "What Can I Say" wich is all my faves on the album...!
But a question: Does anyone have the keyboard notes or something for the Requiem thing?

I use the tracks off the album for copleting the albums on my mp-3 cd.
So Infinite has around 14 songs or so on my mp3-disc and Episode has 17 songs or so.
Now we have Elements pt.2 and i have to make a new mp3-cd.
There i can change a bit what i didn't like on some records, for example changing the song order slighty on two or 3 records, or editing some tracks.

Requiem sounds like the background music for STARSHIP TROOPERS&ROBOCOP 3.
I wonder if that gave them the idea----Of course, the Intro to Hands of Time sounds like X-FILES theme.......sort of.

Do you all really think they will release another compilation-type album before the next major one? Its possible, I guess--especially if another major album is not going to be released for over a year. That way there is a continual flow of resources to the band, and no break.

I think Intermission is a good album but it's a compilation album with 4 new songs and the songs are quite cool :D

It was like a new album for me because I haven't heard all the bonus tracks on other albums and I liked this album a lot. It's much better than Elements albums ...

What also makes Intermission interesting is that you can hear many of the different Strato sounds on one album. You got a song from Episode sessions, a couple from Destiny sessions, lots from Infinite and so on. Timestamps collected, whereas the regular Strato album is (naturally) recorded in one session. And the many songs written by Koti and Johansson also increase the interesting-ness :D

Yes, Falling into Fantasy is a very sexy song without being blatant. I wonder why it wasn't put on one of the major albums? Koti wrote that song!
Those guys have a diffeent writng style: Tolkki writes about freedom, and mankind's good&bad inheent qualities, and the reality of pain in life.
Jens writes upbeat songs about friendship and also about life, good&bad, in the music industry. And Koti writes about love, and
friendship. Of course, the guys intermingle types of songs, but I am stating thats how it is for the most part....
