I know what you feel.
During the gig in Lyon, all the people acclaimed Kotipelto, and personally I feel a bit sory for Tolkki, because he also deserved lot of support (especially because of his health).
I do believe that no one in the audience in Lyon "hated" Tolkki. I think they all like(d) him, but as you might know, it's always the singer who get all the attention.
So many times during the gig, I looked at Timo Tolkki and gave him really big smiles.
And I can tell you something : Tolkki was really pleased to see the friendly atmosphere in the audience... and there was a time people screamed "Timo ! Timo !", and he took it for him, but it was for Koti. I really felt sorry for him at that moment, and I could see a certain deception in his face...
But who cares. the show was amazing, maintly because Strato songs are amazing, so in a way or another, this is thank to Tolkki and no one should forget that ! never ! :)

I was really glad to meet Tolkki at the end of the show and had a little talk with him. This guy really needs support....
this gig gave me some hope that perhaps it's not yet too late for Stratovarius... Just a feeling, I don't know...
I think u are right to keep some hope ! 8)

Those are great pics! And more reports are always welcomed! :)
About pics, there are some new ones popping up on Goggle&other Search Engines every few days now--so, I check a couple times a week.

I think it was just a coincidence that Koti was standing in that particular area--he is all over the stage when he sings-very active.

And why not Papillon ???
Eagleheart and No Million Lightyears Away are horrible songs in my opinion.
Yes, it's a mess that they didn't play Paradise live, but I can tell you, this song doesn't sound as good live as what it sounds in the record.
for their last show in france they fucked up with the setlist. I've made 350km to see them. i'am still full of hate that they didn't play those songs
350km ? You think it's a lot ?
last year I travelled 800km to see them in Paris and I can tell you, the setlist was really bad ( "Fantasia", "Elements", "Soul of A Vagabond"...) and the show wasn't really interesting.
Are you really a fan of Stratovarius ?
I don't think you are.
Next time, stay at home and listen to "Visions Of Europe" instead. You'll save your time and money.
if someone has bootleged this show, please share it, and i hope the last stratoshow will be bootlegged and shared on internet
Ah Ah....

& of course I would Love my other faves songs like We Hold the Key, Galaxies, SoS, etc...
But well we can't have everything that We want !:D

Yep, "Reign Of Terror" and "Eternity" weren't great, but it was quite a good choice, to vary the songs a bit. We can't have "Father Time" during 1h20 :)
In my opinion, "Paradise" would be a good choice.
Perhaps "Hold On To Your Dream" or "Shattered" from Dreamspace album with Jörg Michael on the drums would be a good choice ?

Cliff@ I Love Eternity, I think is a great song ! :D

Reign of Terror is not the best song from Dreamspace, They should play Magic Carpet Ride, We are the Future, Wings of Tomorrow & Hold on to your Dream that are The Bests songs from that album !!! =P

We Hold the Key, Galaxies, SoS are greats too, but DESTINY is the Best of all........ =P :D :luv2:

No, no, no... the best song in Dreamspace is "Chasing Shadows" ! 8)
We Hold the Key, Galaxies, SoS are greats too, but DESTINY is the Best of all........ =P :D :luv2:
I don't share your opinion about Galaxies (i mean it's ok, but not great). And I think "SOS" is not as good as "Hunting High And Low"... but always better than this horrible "EagleHeart" !
And yes, "Destiny" is the BEST Stratovarius song... "Visions" is really good too ;)

Well, as you see, everyone has a perception which is different from others. Though EVERYONE will say that Black Diamond from VISIONS is a better song than 030368 (or whatever is Tolkki's birthday) from 4th DIMENSION, abot other stuff all opinions are different. I like Eaglehearth, but it's not a masterpiece, I love Destiny, Visions (the best for me), Black Diamond and many others.... But it's just a personal opinion.... =P
