Well this is a short background of this fucking journey.

7:00 Ring Ring....wake up wake up
7:15 My guitar player and my girlfriend arrive at my home.
7:30 We are in my car, the voyage start.
8:00 We take up my Daddy(I converted him to Stratovarius , not too difficult to do with a Deep Purple, Led Zepplin and Pink Floy old fan...)
9:00 Coffe and breakfast...Caffè espresso, Cappuccino e schiaccia.
10:00 Gasoline stop.
12:30 We arrive to Bologna, Arena Parco Nord
13:40 We enter the gates of GOM 2004.
13:42 I buy a Stratoshirt.
13:50-14:20 RAGE on stage. Pretty Good.
14:40-15:35 ANATHEMA on stage. Dont like so much...but is only my opinion.
15:50-16:50 SYMPHONY X on stage. Great!!! Romeo and Pinnella are wonderfull...Showtime!!!
17:15-18:00 NEVERMORE...very good band, thrash, very powerful with 3 guitars. I go to eat something and drink beer...i'm so excited...STRATOSHOW IS NEAR...

18:05 Black Clouds, very strong wind, it start to rain and to hail...temperature go from 30° celcius to 13° celcius. All people are wet and we go to the car...

Ufo and Stratovarius shows are cancelled. I return to my home sad and full of anger. Fucking Day

I imagine your anger... I thank the deities of Booga Booga for not having been in Bologna yesterday, otherwise I would have make a genocide let's hope they'll come back - little advice: next time play in a club!

Dopo l'uragano di ieri...

Gli Stratovarius suoneranno oggi, dalle 14.20 alle 15.20.
I possessori del biglietto della giornata di sabato potranno commutarlo - ENTRO LE ORE 14 - con un ingresso per la giornata di oggi, per vedersi il recupero del concerto.
Gli orari dei concerti sono stati modificati. I Dragonforce non suoneranno.

Now I'm getting depressed about the StratoSituation again.
But, I an understand their frustration after being cancelled yesterday. And I also understand that Koti and his somewhat cheerful attitude saved the day--AGAIN!

Hi,I'm just arrived at home from the show and I try to post my impressions.Surely Kotipelto has been the more active ,he ran over the stage during all the time of the show and he also joke with jens during a keybord solo.There have been also a moment in which Kotipelto asked to pepople to sing;he wasn't satisfied(We weren't loud enough) so asked Tolkki if he was and TT made a sign of no with the head so Kotipelto reask people to sing louder.So Timo and Timo have talk at each other.
Jens made a lot of photos of the people and I saw a roadie from the stratocrew recording the show with a television camera
In my opinion this show has not been "cold" as told by the guy on the italian site but surely a little far from the bests stratoshows

There was also a "meet and greet" with Kotipelto planned at the Metal Hammer magazine stand but the time was unknown.I have waited for about 1 hour and half after the show but he didn't come.After I had to go home so i don't know when he came.

yeah this was a very anoying thing .. i have dreamed of a situation like this one.Pretty a nightmare...

FUCK!!! ALL THID THINGS ARE TOO BAD TO ME!!! I went to GodsOfMetal the first day, to see the LAST Stratovarius GIG in Italy, but the FUCKING rain cancelled their show. After I MUST return at home.

I saw Dark Lunacy (not bad), Into Eternity (something strange), Domine (they have a very good singer), Symphony X (they are all sweet people, in the meeting they talk to the fans and jokes... Michael was too good, he played a tapping solo with the eyes closed by Allen, fantastic), but after Nevermore (18.00) there were the LAST DAY ON EARTH in only 15 minutes, and the show stopped until 22.00 (I'm not sure but it was very late) that continued with Judas Priest but not STRATOVARIUS.

Just an answer: WHY? Why can't I see only a Stratovarius show? Why can't I see the LAST (I hope it is false) show of my favourite band... Why can't I see Timo Tolkki play guitar? There is a nonsense of all, Stratovarius can't die! I MUST see Timo Tolkki and say him he is the best song-writer of all the metalheads I ever listen in my life!

Maybe there won't be any storms to cancel/postpone the next show......at least from the Big Guy upstairs!

Just 4 more to go&the verdict will be in!

I am going to reserve judgment&comments until the final statement is made--there is a Redneck saying which sometimes proves true: Don't count your chickens before they are hatched! TRANSLATION: Many chicks while still developing within the egg, die. So do not count the result until they hatch out and are OK. ENGLISH TRANSLATION: Don't plan/assume/speculate about the future because no one knows what tomorrow may bring forth!

the coach of italian soccer team says ofter "non dire gatto se non ce l'hai nel sacco" which is similar to what you wrote before (it should sound like "do not say cat if you don't have it in the sack - which means of course do not speculate on what's coming next, you never know!)

Those are the natural coloured hair of Jens!!! Hes quite blond, yes.

The picture of Tolkki that you find at the link of metallus that was posted before, shows a Tolkki with a very tired face in my opinion! But when he plays the beautiful purple ESP guitar he's very cool anyway. And, again, the t-shirt with the word "WE". ....
