Depends on what timeframe we're talking about here. Ultimately, no band will survive.

Kotipelto the band will survive anyway, even if Koti backs to Strato, he said it. And Stratovarius' future is, actually, in his hands... so it's hard to say if it will survive or not.

Too early to tell just yet....hopefully both!:D

I really like both bands so I hope they both go on although it would truly be wonderful if the Timo's can sort things out and release more amazing albums together!

I realy dont care about Kotipelto but I hope Timo Tolkki's band will rock and live on!

If Strato does decide to split up&go seperate ways, I hope they handle it as classy as the group Phish, did.
Phish had developed internal turmoil between all the members: they eventually jst could not get along with one another on either a business or personal level-so, they decided to end it. To be fair to their fans&to have good memories for themselves, Phish did a final farewell Album&an extensive tour to say Good-bye.
This would be,IMHO, a good step for Strato to take IF this is what they, as a group, decide.
Naturally, dreamer as I am:lol: I am hoping the StratoGuys stay together, but its not my band, I'm not in it-so, its not my decision. And, I'm glad because this would be a hard path to chose either way. Each would have its challanges&its pluses.
In the end, us fans will support Strato in whatever road they choose to travel........

Well, like I said--I am a Dreamer-too much of one, sometimes for my own good!
I just try to see the good in every situation&people--and, always hope for the best&look on the bright side. At times, I realize reality is not that pretty, but I do hope for Strato's second Chance.

Why couldnt they both survive? Though I doubt that Strato will survive in a longer run. They were great, but it doesnt look too good in my apinion!

well first Kotipelto is not a band yet , it's just band with friends who help him to do the album , so i don't think , but don't make this kind of questions , first we have to see what really is happenin' betwen the guys , well that's what i think!!!!!

Without Stratovarius there is Kotipelto
Without Kotipelto, there's no Stratovarius, as far as Timo Tolkki's comments go. I am actually quite eager to hear any news from Stratovarius, but so far it seems that Timo Kotipelto wants to shut up about Stratovarius and go on by himself. Then again, if and when Stratovarius makes a reunion, I am sure it will be reported. What comes to the situation between Tolkki and Kotipelto, they've alredy been able to sit in the sauna at the same time(see Strato.com news)so there's at least some "peace" in the air. But as far as I think, if Stratovarius comes "back"(they've never officially split), some things won't be the same and some things need to change.
