Yeah. About the moderation topic: I think i was a judging bit fast, as the problem was solved quite fast in the end, it was just the wrath of the moment

Bad luck with the picture topic though, i dont really watched ´em, but it was quite an effort doing them i assume

About the new topic by new member issue: No problem, but there is a fav. song topic here i think. Its not that hard to take a fast look at the topics already written

thanks to this we can get to know how other people interpretate it. I couldn't tell it's sexy, it's rather about mediating on relations that never turns into reality. I see Black Diamonds almost everywhere, then this melody appers in my mind...

eh, don't sweat it holliday.

i remember the first time i heard it, i made everyone i came in contact with for the next week listen to it.

We all have a black diamond of our own, i am sure. In that context it is easy to understand why it can be thought of as a sexy song. I mean, it TOTALLY makes me think sexy thoughts about Kotipelto when i hear him sing it. NOT. I am a huge music dweeb but not that bad!

Compar this to a person-male or female-like this: the "bad" girls/boys of the world.

Most beautiful on outside--yet inside, unstable, fickle, unreliable, can't be trusted, etc--yet these "Black Diamond" people are so attractive we can't help but notice them&be interested!

I have known many male black diamonds in my life&always, in the end, get shattered by them!:(

That seems to be this songs message--the guy is attracted to a beautiful lady but knows she is bad news... thus, he is pulled in two directions-----to love her and get hurt, or, reject her&miss out on possibly the greatest sex&attention of his life!;)

BTW, shortly before this song came out, the largest Black Diamond on record was discovered in Baltic Sea---made world news! I wondr if this put a lightbulb in TT&TKs brain? Or maybe it was all coincidnce.

Black Diamond is typical and thats it. Seriously, Stratovarius has this inconsistency problem. Actually they are very consistent being inconsistent.

On every album there are about 2 or 3 AMAZING songs, but then the album is plagued with the same hard rocking typical song every time. Black Diamond happens to be a rather typical Stratovarius filler song. Lucky for me, Stratovarius makes those 2 or 3 amazing songs per album good enough for me to buy the albums and like them.

That's the heart of the matter. Possibility of many different interpretation of this song makes it's attractive. And that is in case of all songs, poems, paintings, sculptures, or general works of art - I think the art is drawing our attention, because everyone can interpretate it in his/her own way, and find there what is looking for...

Black Diamond reminds me to my first girl friend. Last summer, in the karate camp, a girl asked a man to ask my name, and our relationship started here.

Later we talked to each other for hours, and then we went away from the sneeking eyes.

But she lives very far away from me, so this relationship longed for only 2 days.

A true"Black diamond" is beautiful on outside, yet unstable, shallow&fake on the inside....
TK definitely is beautiful on outside, but from all indications he has a solid&good personality, so, I can't say he is 100% Black Diamond--I mean, I do not know him, but I assume by observation that he is not an actor, or a egotist(full of himself).
