No news for a long time.
The band is out of action for a long time too.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't say that!!!!!! Even if we have to be realistic...lets just hope this isn't the end, yeah, we haven't have news for a while, but....Ah dunno, sorry but my brain doesn't pressces to much info at the same time....so....Strato its not coming? nah, i dont belive it.

No need to worry just yet--they are just taking a long break.
TT is still recovering&possibly working in his studio with other bands.
TK has his Tour coming up&there are rumors of a Third album possibly on the way.
The other three guys are in various projects of their own--Jens with a new album, Jorg working with many bands/doing the family man caper&There's Jari playing the Newlywed game!
So, don't be so pessimistic--they all are doing fine!
TT is still recovering&possibly working in his studio with other bands.

Nice question. Well, i think that we really know Nothing. One thing is for sure:Most of people think that Stratovarius don't exist anymore. Of course all of us build hopes for a reunion whenever Tolkki or Johansson comes to the forum and write 2-3 words.But the lack of updates on strato.com gives the impression that the band is not active anymore. Only an official statement will clear the things up.

Its not ended---please, do not even think that. They are just on a break&will resume recording more albums later.
