I was playing this record of Stratovarius(Destiny) and I decided to drop by stratovarius.com. First I notice is this annoying banner, showing only 3 members... Hmm, I thought to myself -what is this, so I went onto news, checking things out. First I get to see is new vocalist and drummer -- I was like what the fuck??

Then I see attack - stabbing?? Yet a time I was like what on earth is going on? Then I see Tolkki is at the hospital for somekinda breakdown. But guess what, it doesn't end there -- I also get to my knowledge: Stratovarius is quitting, ending, dying, stopping, finishing, closing - you name it??

Now - what on Earth is going on here?? Please explain me point by point. The news did unfortunately not tell me much, I am only confused by these sad news.

Start by explaining the stabbing...

Ok, so the stabbing, (I think) he was stabbed at a performance in Spain from some piss drunk asshole ...someone back me up here on this one. I'm not sure if I'm clear on this, but I think thats what happened.

The new vocalists, Katrinna, was gonna replace Kolti, but TT didn't go for it (especailly when he saw her pictures with blood and crap ).

And the situation with Strato? Lets just say they're on a break.

About the Kotipelto´s & Michael´s quit: They were drinking with Tolkki, discussing about the future of the band, and the mediocre role Koti plays on the writings of the songs, and due to drunkness and bitter unsolved problems, they went into a fist fight (not confirmed - some do, other denies).

About Timo Tolkki´s package of shit: It appears someone from Brazil had sent overseas a package full of shit directly to TT´s personal address. They concluded because in the package it contained the sender´s address, which was from São Paulo - Brazil. ( not confirmed - the proof of its origin is not strong enough...it could have been anyone from anywhere...and besides, it was just Tolkki´s statement...no report to police - not that i know - and no deep investigations - and add that it was in the time that TT lost it)

About Timo Tolkki´s stabbing: After one of the shows Stratovarius had booked before the fist fight (!), that had to be perfomed with the original line-up (not MissK nor Anders), Timo Tolkki was walking in the streets when he was attacked by some crazy nut-case and stabbed in the arm. Pictures were taken of the wounds, and some people alleged they were fake (!!!) (confirmed the accident, not the fake wounds, and as far as i know, the assailant was not caught)

About Stratoforum Breakdowm: Someone was spreading nazist shit all over the forum, and a forum member got pissed and decided to tell the police. (not sure if the forum went off by the police or the administration)

It seems to be a tough time for Tolkki, doesn´t it?

Well, that´s my vision of the facts...i´m sure someone can explain them better.

The package was sent to the fan club address.

And yes the stabbing was real, I have spoken to other Finns who have seen the scars.

I'm not sure if the split happened before or after the alleged fight, or as a result of it. Or even if the fight happened.

I think no one of Stratomembers is obliged to explain any ill-favored accidents even if they really had a place.

The stabbing was real---during the Summer TT would wear longsleeves to hide the scars&you know how hot it gets on stage playing music.
