OMG, I just can't believe it. Are they really not that similar? Just listen to that damn mp3, I've uploaded... listen to it several times. You will see it people.

I know the songs from the top of my head, including the melody, but I don't think the 2 songs are similar.

The problem IMO lies in the fact that you try too hard to prove you're right. If you listen long enough, you'll start to believe there's a similarity, even if there isn't.

i think hunting high and low and i walk to my own song are pretty good and very similar....but since hunting was first released, i guess i walk to my own song is kind of an imitation.....i prefer hunting high and low

Hunting High and Low is better, because the vocal harmonies are better.


Oh, and this basically shows everyone I'm right about Timo's brilliance at rewriting songs OVER and OVER and OVER again until he's in the hospital. Instead of beast pete's seperate thing, I put HHAL over IWTMOS for a second so it seems like the same song.

Your mp3 version is good as well Porter. But it doesn't mean, that Tolkki is the worst songwriter. He still is my favourite. This topic was made only to show, that these two songs are so damn similar.

maybe there is a similarity but this doesn't mean anything.....it is usual that a song of a band reminds you of another song of the same band because of the same style.................every band is like that.......

I voted for Hunting high and low. And I don`t think they are the same. I think HHAL has more in common with Eagleheart than with I walk to my own song. But I love all of `em.

I Walk To My Own Song gets my vote. HHAL is really, really good, IWTMOS just happens to be (IMO) a tiny bit better, catchier and all that.

They're a bit similar but I voted fot "No they aren't" because the sound is diffrent. -> HHAL is a happy song, but I walk has for me an arguing sound. I walk sounds like the footsteps for Strato split. Listen to the chorus. Note! This is only my opinion...
