I'm too lazy to go look for the old chat-topic and bump it, so I'm creating a new one.
Anyhoo, every Sunday between 18-21 CET (that's Central European Time, GMT+1) is "the official time to chat" in our little chat channel.

Okay. I assume you're having trouble connecting to the server, rather than joining the channel (our banlist is empty at the moment, so that can't be the problem). What error message do you get? Also, are you on dial-up or broadband?

And are you using a router or not? It may be another problem as I know.

Yes, I'm behind a router, and I have a wide broadband (4096kbps/256kbps) connection. But I never had any problems whatsoever connecting to IRC servers.
