Have anyone noticed some hidden melodies into Strato songs?
I mean:
· STAR WARS (Binary sunset theme) at the end of Before the Winter.
· apparent CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF A THIRD KIND melody at the end of Luminous.
· And also an evident connection to NEVERENDING STORY in Fantasia song.
Those movies are all about fantasy, universality vision of mankind... to similar to Stratovarius concept for most of its songs.
Have anyone noticed another musical-link?

At the beginning of Hands of Time it kinda sounds like X-Files theme

Requiem sounds kinda like Starship Troopers background music(which is very cool IMO)???
Is that what you mean?

At the end of Before the Winter the keyboards keep playing a melody over and over. Then, the melody gets too similar to Star Wars score for dramatic scenes. The Binary Sunset theme comes first at Episode IV, when Luck is doubting about taking his destiny as a Jedi Knight and sees the double-sunset of Tatooine. Then, this song turns into a leit-motiv all along the saga (specially for emotional scenes).
I guess Jens knows it...

Okay, you were right. I listened this afternoon to Before the winter and this part in the end played - I think it`s played by an oboe - really does sound like that Star wars theme.
