How long you´ve been listening to Stratovarius?

I´ve been listening to them since 5 years, I´ve got all their albums since then too.
I´ve saw them live once in the elements tour.

I guess a lot of guys from the forum are new fans.

I bought my first Strato-album (which was also my first metal-album ever) some 6 years ago, though I first heard them about two years earlier and already then I liked them very very much.

not even one year Since last summer... My first album was Visions but before buying it, I downloaded some stuff from the band, my first song was Eternity, then Tears Of Ice and then Black Diamond.

I have been listend to strato for four or five year and than I was 8 or 9 year and didn't know them so well I was listning to them because my brother listend to them............
But I don't know the first song, I think it was Kiss of Yudas or something

Let's see, I've been Stratofan for 3 years now. I saw Hutning High And Low on TV and bought Infinite. I was impresed by this album, but it wasn't until a friend loaned me Fourth Dimension that I really got interested in them.

about 5 years ever since the infinite album came out. i have all their albums, a few t-shirts and i have only seen them once, which was on the elements tour

3½ years ago I listened mainly to mainstream crap, like Linkin Park and all that. Then, one time at a friend's house I heard a song called Visions by some (to me) totally unknown finnish metal band..
Nothing has been the same after that. I was "converted" to a metalhead almost instanteously.

Some of you are so lucky seen Strato on TV, Here in my country you´ll never see a metal band on TV or Radio, it´s an underground style of music, but it is also a massive style. The last show of Stratovarius here in Chile was the Elements tour and the stadium was full with 5000 people.

The "Chosen Ones" is a good compilation&the cartoon cartiatures of the band are reay cute!
Tolkki also has a great message in the CD. Hope you can get it someday!

i've benn listening Stratovarius since 4 years ago , my big brother introduce them to me n' since the first moment i heard them i'm loved them , the fist song i heard was black diamond n' them forever , wow when i listened forever (live) for the first time i be stoned 'bout the way the ppl sang that song , since them i knew it that i want to listen a band who makes ppl feel the music so deep , like Stratovarius does...

I've been listening to it since last august. Not so long though. The first time I heard the band I was sold out. From that moment I wanted to listne to that band. I got to know the band at a music camp in Lapland where one pal of mine played me Destiny.

I just asked from one of my dad's friend(he works in a music shop) that could I get some Strato notes, but he said that Kotipelto had posted 'em that they are no longer availeble. I apologise my terrible English.

Well i listen the first Stratovarius music a long time ago it was Forever, it was playing in a local radio in a heavy dedicated program (Today is still one of my favourite Strato songs, well who don´t like this music!!).
But i buy my first albun "The choosen ones" more or less 5 years ago (end of 1999 begin of 2000).
Now i have all studio albuns, a few singles, dvd....

I never saw them live. They already come at Portugal at least 2 times (Visions and Elements tour, i think), but i could never go to see them. I will see Stratovarius live in next albun tour (they will come Portugal, i know that, i only don´t know when!!).
