Stratovarius Community

Well i think it would be interesting if Jens could talk with all the band members and tell them to come here to the forums(on a set date ej: may 15, for about one hour or so), so we the stratofans will be able to talk with them, and know more about them, maybe chat a little and have some fun.

What do you think people wouldn't it be great?
For me it would be a very special day, it would be awesome!! a dream come true for me!!

well i don't know if this was done before on the forum, i think it would be awesome people, if you are interested we can do a poll or maybe send some mail to Jens so he would consider it.

Since I'm here, Jari made one post saying he was still alive, and nothing from TK and Jörg... That would a great idea for sure but there would be a lot of people during one hour, I don't think everyone could tak with them.

the closest thing i have to know more about stratovarius members is the Against the wind video that shows them in some kind of House/Studio, sleepin, eating, and having fun, i really like that video.

You are right, maybe two hours?, but i think that if we are interested we can, i don't know make a pool or something, if the results are very good(we can e-mail Jens too), i am sure Jens will consider it.

I would like to see if you can modify/add something to the idea, how do you think it would be better, i don't know i just whish i can talk with them, specially with Kotipelto and Tolkki, i would like to know what are their favorite songs... a lot of things

Well you are right, but you know it's not the same to chat live, than by e-mail, it would be nice to see the band here, specially Kotipelto, i am looking foward to talk with Jorg too, he is the crazy one of the band!, to see them writing, joking, those stuff...

I thought it was Jorg because he is half naked always, and he does a lot of freaking things with his drum-sticks(are they called that way, sorry bad english), and he is almost all the time smiling, and moving his head from one side to the other (like his hands..)

Well the craziest guy is Jens! I heard that when Strato played at RMJ in Finland he was really drunk. The chat is a good idea but I think they've got no time for that at least not now.

A chat, whrere all fans and band members can talk to eachother - similar to the Luca Turilli chat that was held a while ago - would be an even better idea!

It would be THE opportunity for the band to get in touch with their fans even more.

I like that video, too! I taped it off satellite TV back in 2000. It has a special place in my heart because it was the first time I saw&heard Stratovarius! Koti looked different back then(1994), not as buffed up&kinda geeky. Lasilla&Ikonen were the players then, and Tolkki had long hair to his butt! I liked their Music from the start--reminded me of Ironmaiden. And, I started buying their albums right away---Infinite, then Intermission. I listened to them almost constantly. I never tire of their music&hopefully never will.

Another thing, I think against the wind is one of the best Stratovideo avaible, its funny to see them together sharing some of those old great moments, specially the part where Tolkki is sleepy, and Kotipelto is in Shorts (if Jorg were in the video, i would bet my neck that he would always appear Half-naked, and what about Jens, i am sure he would like blow some toilet in the video ).

Is the Infinite Visions DVD that good? beacuse i read somewhere that it didn't live up to the hype, if it is has everything that i mencioned above or maybe the most part of it then i would love to have it!!!, you lucky North Americans you get everything at the stores, I can't do the same here, they only sell britney, linkin park and disney cds/dvds here

i think timo (kotipelto ) is on tour now :S so i dont think he would be able to appear in this " chat " thing

The DVD is VERY good--get it whenever you can! There are Videos at the end that are alone worth the price of the DVD! You probably can order it on-line in several places on the 'Net. As a "lucky American" I got mine through CenturyMedia Catalog, one of the cheapest&best places to order CDs.

I am american too, but one hell of an unlucky one (i live in Republica Dominicana, and the store here only sells pop related things, for ex: Backstreet boys, britney, christina and only the cds that get publicity in MTV, you won't find a cd from a power metal band here anywhere, no Rhapsody, no Sonata, no Strato, no Symphony X, (the only metal avaible is metallica and dream theater and is very dificult to find them, and its because they are very popular) damn this sux.

I will save all the money that i can, so i can order it and all the stratocds, online...

I am DYING for it!!!!!!, i want it!!!!!

Yes, i's the only one. We're desperately waiting for the DVD of a Milan Elements Tour show, but I don't think it will be relased in the next century...

What does Infinite visions have? how many videos? wich songs? how long is it? what is the best part of it?

Hope somebody can answer those questions, please.
