Stratovarius Community

Well, I'm listening to it now... first thoughts..... an underated gem of an album. THe songs... Hands of Time and Out of the Shadows are among Stratovarius's best EVER songs I think and would definately be on a 'best of' cd if I created one. What do others think??

Very good album, and very underrated indeed. But Strato made better albums than this one imo, Dreamspace, 4th , Episode, Visions, and both Elements are way better. But I was also very surprised when I got TT, cause people describe it as total bullshit but it is actally very good. My favs are Break The Ice, Out Of The Shadows and Madness Strikes At Midnight.

I can't agree on Elements being better than twilight, I know it's just opinion, but I felt that ELements 2 was so bad.

I agree with you 100%! But, my fav is Lead Us Into the Light---a very beautiful, emotive song. Hands of Time is on both the 14 Diamonds&Chosen Ones Compilations.

interesting, as all three albums with TT on vocal, that contain a bit different music, significant development is heard since Fright Night. Songs you mentioned are on The Chosen Ones, which is a kind of best of album. I'd add Lead Us Into The Light - one of the best their ballad

No problem There can be lots of things like that. For ex. I can't stand rhapsody's SOEL2 but I have friends who think it's very good...

I think it`s way better than Fright Night, which is waful. Hands of time, Out of the shadows and Lead us into the light are one of Strat`s best, Twilight time and the hills have eyes are weak, the rest is okay.
And I think this album is better than Dreamspace.
