I Also Am A Musician Who Writes More Progressive Music, And Hopes This Kinda Music Lives On. Im Sick Of The Junk That Plays Around Here, I guess That Would Be The Great Thing About Living Around And In Europe, People Actually Like Good Music Still Over There, And Not Follow Fads...Good Day!......... Actually my roots are with Jimmy Page, but as I played more and more, I soon realized my musical future. Randy Rhoads was the first I heard doing more classical oriented things, then one night listening to the radio, I was listening to something I never heard b4, Yngwie Malmsteen with Alcatraz....I was blown away actually....So that is the direction I took musically...I never realized how many great bands are over there around and in Europe, I would have missed out on Stratovarius, and bands like that if it werent for my friend and Vocalist Adrian. He led me to bands like this, and Rhapsody, Vision Divine..I hope this stuff lives forever...and Neorave, Ive never been to Bands of America competitions, what is it exactly? ty...Everett Hodge

It's a national competition of the best high school marching bands in the United States. It's usually held in the same arena that the Indianapolis Colts play in. It's pretty cool, because Bellevue West, a high school in Omaha, usually has gone there almost every year.

My gf has a son that is in the Marching Band here in town, and they went to that last time....They went to state, but did not win.....Boonville Highschool is his school......peace ...Everett Hodge

I live in southern Indiana...where if you dont like rap or country, ur an outcast basically.....But I hold the flame for us, and will get this music out there...Bad thing is most people in America, if its not on the radio one hundred times a day, they dont respond to it..sad, but tru ..Everett Hodge

I hear those competitions are very hard. The judging is freakingly strict. Oh well, at least the band went to state and had a good time.
