I agree, I like 030366, but things like Thin Ice are craps... I'd like to know why did Tolkki compose it... a moment of madness or angry, maybe...?
030366 is great, but terrible Full Moon is so bad song, and Thin Ice too...

Its a change. They have the courage to do different things, and that's always a good thing. If Strato had stayed exactly the same ever since Episode, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be one of my favourite bands in the way that they are now.

quiet so. i love each album because it is unique, the tolkki era were more of the hard heavy and emotional ones, episode is the "modern" strato, visions is what really defined their style, all the way to the elements albums where they began to change a little, for me at least :)

Indeed! I wonder, what kind of cover can come out of a name like "Stratovarius".

This is offtopic anyway, but I have to say it:

Indeed, it's nice that band like Stratovarius has many fans around the world. I'm sure that in the early days Strato didn't believe that in future they are famous in South America, Asia etc and everywhere in the world. In Japan Strato is (or was?) more famous than in Finland, I think.

Indeed, during Twilight Time/Dreamspace era especially they were more famous in Japan than in Europe :D If I remember well, Twilight Time once was the #1 all-times best selling import album in Japan.
