See there's a slight little problem...the show is sold out, that's why she's asking for tickets here

Oh well, the reason why I didn't realize that is that when you search for stratovarius, it actually gives you the option of choosing tickets; only AFTER clicking on "continue" it tells you that there are no tickets left... stupid website :?

Hey, maybe you can try getting tickets for Montreal, after all, it's close to Quebec, and last time I checked, they still had tickets. I bought mine here: http://www.ticketpro.ca

You have no idea how much we waited for you guys to come here...people always associate Quebec and Montreal to the rest of North America but are very different (as you might have heard from guys of others bands). If you don't come one stage thinking you're in Europe while being here, there's something really, really wrong with the crowd  It's perfectly normal to sell out a show here months in advance for bands like yours. Blind Guardian sold out a show, about 2-3 years ago, weeks before even confirming they were coming. If you book a second date, it's going to sell out as fast, that's for sure...

Mmmmm.... sounds like Quebecois separatism... :D

I've never been to Quebec City, although I'm gonna go there this summer. However, I've been to Montreal many times (my best friend lives there) and it is just a little bit different from other North American cities, but for the most part, there's no significant difference. Monteal is similar to other cities. Tetsuo, you should visit other cities outside North America and then you'll see how similar Montreal is to North American cities.... even the sidewalks look the same in all of North America :D
In terms of people, there is some difference, but not a big one.

I don't know where you live so I can't really speak about where you're from. All I know is down in the U.S., it's very, VERY different from up here, and not only metal-wise. As for the rest of Canada, I know it's way more british than american, and that's a good point. (I personnally have nothing against Americans but guys, admit it, your government AND metal shows blow)

The US is not very different from up here. And Canada is not more British than American... just to give you an example, think about sports. Apart from hockey, the national sport, people here play basketball, baseball, etc., just like in the US.... no football at all, which is by far England's most popular sport. What about TV? All the shows here are American. And what about politics? Yes, the Liberals won here, but the Conservatives came VERY close; the government here didn't collapse because of ONE vote (on Thursday the Parliament's or the Congress' speaker, I don't remember which one, gave the decisive vote, 153 to 152, meaning that Canada will not hold elections to maintain a minority government). I know you are trying to set Canada, and especially Quebec, apart from the US, but things here are not very different. Oh and I live in Toronto.

Dude, what are you talking about? Limp Bizkit is so br00tal!!

.....or not.

Anyhow, it's nice to know/hope that the US shows don't have a huge chance of selling out in any huge proportion....i can have some faith in being able to find a ticket, um.....wherever i end up, i suppose.

American crowds are well...meh.

Although those Florida death metal crowds ARE insane!

But nothing, ever, EVER, even comes close to a crowd in Athens, Greece

Ever.

That's because Florida IS death. Seriously. The other massive metalhead in the area and i have a schtick that when the band Death came up with their name, it was because they were trying to describe what it was like to live here in florida.

I got one ticket for Quebec City on the 24th. I am willing to sell it or trade it for one at the Montreal show.

I bought the wrong ticket and I don't want to travel 4h alone to go to QC CITY :)
