first ask someone in your country why they don't invite stratovarius. I'm sure they would go and play to as many places as possible, but when there's no interest from other side, so there's no gig. I think such situation is in Poland, and probably in your country.

My city is not big, but I know that almost hundred falks will go to Kiev to listen band such Stratovarius.
But Kiev - that's something different.
First. In Kiev lives reach people. $25 or $30 is not problem for them.
Second. Many fans, like me, for a long time waiting for Stratovarius in Kiev.
Third. Most of Kiev inhabitants, searching for something new for them in cultural live, so in music to, especial after our Orange Revolution.

I agree with You. Kiev is REALLY different from other cities in Ukrain.
The "contrast" between the capital and the rest of the country is really huge, especially if you compare it to the other countries.
Maybe one reason is because Kiev is a city which is full of architecture and history because it was the capitale of the ex Russian Republic (even before Sankt Petersburg). It is also one huge place for tourism and arts (but also for "marriage" shits)
The Orange Revolution changed many things indeed, much more than people think. For once in (15 years ?), ukrainian people were finally able to express themselves, and it fill their hearts full of hope.
Many people compare Ukraine and Russia, but there are totally different countries. Russia is still full of corruption and mafia. Ukraine still have some, but nothing compared to Russia!
Btw, Vopli Vidopliassova and Ruslana rule
