Just say something which express your feelings when reading the news, entering the Sanctuary site, seeing the soooo little piece of the video and hearing the soooo little piece of the song. Ok, mine was:
OH, MY GOOOOOOD!!!!!!
It's hard breathing now!!!

I hate to sound negative because I love Strato... I just don't know why people like the not-so-expressive, straightforward songs like Eagleheart, Hunting High and Low and Maniac Dance so much. I'd love to see a videclip of a song like Destiny or Night Time Eclipse.
Anyways, when it comes to the videoclip for Maniac Dance, my reaction is............. whatever...

Yes, but who really wants to watch ten minutes some music video (those are very good songs, but music video???). Music videos make for normal guys (I mean not strato-fans) and they use catchy-songs to get more public...

Stealth, I also love the less accessible songs. If it were up to me, I'd ban the cheesies from the setlist.

I guess I have watched Infinite Visions too many times.
OTOH, when they play them live, I still love them... and Maniac Dance is catchy in a way that the older cheesies are not. (HHAL, BD, KoJ etc..)
I'm also looking forward to this new album/single/video a lot. I think that from what I have heard in the clips, Elements won't be beaten, but I guess TT has written a lot of lyrics about his personal journey, and that is the part I am looking forward to most.

For me, no other band write lyrics like Strato does.
Someone said after hearing the new album, "You'll like it, but not as a Strato album". Hmm.... still can't wait!

This whole Strato thing is opening up a great new chapter in their lives, both careerwise&personally. And this journey will be an exciting one for the band&all the fans.
We all have waited so long for this&I think it was worth it.

ok, just heard what i think is a clip of maniac dance, reminds me of episode strangely.... its good, heavier, kinda like tKoJ. My case is wierd since there are very few strato songs i dislike, hell my music list has over 55 songs, and there are fewer than 20 songs i really dont like, no other band in my expirience has that record

Being commercial or not isn't a problem to me. Felling speaks louder when we talk abput a heavy metal band, so I cannot imagine a song more commercial than Hunting HAL, for examplo, but even sot it's one of my favourites. If the song is good, no problem.
That riff (not much heavy, I must admit) sounded completely fresh, new, and that'a what matters to me at this moment.

My only problem with the new Strato-Stuff is that they lost their
classic influences (Bach etc.)
The Samples I heard from the new ablum sounds only like pure Heavy-Metal.
The mysticism around Strato vanishes.

the only new strato song i heard completely is Figth! it rocks, it does not have the same direct infuence as say black diamond, but the solo has beutiful scales (albeit with more rock variations and effects)

Couldn't it be a matter os opinion or even taste? I always thought the mysticism and magic around Stratovarius was their feeling and passion in what they were doing. I felt it back in the new. Elements Pt1 and 2 was full of classical influemces (which I love), but it seems the musics don't work...
Maybe they need to go back to their roots to fell back the pleasure in playing heavy metal.
