Stratovarius Community

Well, I received the link to download the full album. Just imagine me in front of all the new songs... I couldn't help hearing them. Yes, I will buy the album, because I AM A FAN, and I really hope that all the fans like me do the same... even because it's great! Man, it's really great!

I know that many persons heard it, there are some personal reviews here, but nevermind. Free your mind and ears from everything you have heard before you hold it in hands - even the previous albuns. Well, could we recognize Stratovarius in it? Obviously. It's the same band, but now the sound is really different and much more exciting, believe me. The feeling is back, the pleasure in playing the songs too, that's everything I would like to hear in a StratoAlbum again. You all know how disappinted I was with the Elements, but now ot's different. This is the best album they released after Infinite... maybe after Visions.

Stratovarius is BACK IN METAL. That's all we could say after hearing the album. And I'm proud to be a fan again.

I strongly disagree. I was disappointed with the album, and I prefer both Elements. Anyways, it could never be the best album after Visions, because that would definitely have to be the amazing, incredible Destiny!!
And yes I am open to change, but I don't have to like all changes, right? For example, Infinite is different from Episode but I still like it a lot. This new album just doesn't make it for me.

Of course, Stealth, but I personally believe that it's exactly because the changes in the sound, but obviously I can be wrong. Anyway, I'll be here to agree with your opinions change, after a lot of listenings to Maniac Dance, ok?

I also think persons can see different points in their "love" for their bands. To me, Stratovarius have lost the passion for melodic metal a long time ago, since that strange break. I didn't see any feeling in the Elements, and now I feel it back... that's how I see StratoMusic, with speed metal double basses or not...

i agree, the elements was only about the orchestral music (i liked it a lot, eagleheart, stratofortress, find your own voice, know the difference excellent songs, but only the music there was no power and very little emotion)
this time around it is much more energetic, look at fight (yes i absolutly loved that song)

Well it's all subjective, I found plenty of emotion in the Elements, may be more than the early stuff in some times. Maybe except Dreamspace.

sorry forgot to mention i was comparing to fourth dimension, episode and visions, not fright night, twilight time and dreamspace

I'v heard the new album... dont like so much but isn't the worst album even heard, only 3 or 4 songs are really good for me... :
