Obras Will Explode Tomorrow Night!

Post by Black_Lion » Thu Aug 18, 2005 5:07 pm

Well, Strato arrived yesterday to Buenos Aires, they been in a radio interview at Rock & Pop station, in the "Apagá la tele" show... I had no chance to hear them, so please if anybody did, tell me about it.

Tomorrow will be the best day in many many people live's... and maybe mine too. I know it's gonna be a great show!! They won't disappoint me, they NEVER did on any live show or album, that's because they're the best.

I think they'll open the show with Maniac Dance, that would be nice... I'll post the setlist as soon as I can...... but we're all waiting for the classics... Although I think they're gonna play at least Maniac Dance, Just Carry On and Fight... or Back to Madness.

Anyway.... rest of the world: you cant start envying us NOW! :D

Hey, you killjoys. The gigs are always better with surprise setlist. :)

Lucky bastard!

I wonder if they'll have a interview in a Station here in NYC, I don't think so...but it'd be good.

If they don't do that they will disappoint many USAers who travel hundreds of miles to not only see their show, but to get goodies like autographs! I want my CVAT&VISIONS CD autographed! :)

Have them autograph your butt!
You know I'm just joking! :twak: to me!
Seriously, you could get Maniac Dance shirt(its white)&have them sign it, But odds are it would not get here in time. Just take an old-fashioned Autograph book&treasure it always! :)

Have them autograph your butt!
Interesting to see that good ol' browneyedgirl is back
And your signature about rich guys...its biased...
What about the girl who went along with it?
I'd blame the girl more than the guy because she's leading him on to think that she loves him when she is just after his money.

But guys who have seen Stratovarius please please at least pm me a setlist! How was everything, how did they play?

Well, let me tell ya, the show was AWSOME! EXCELLENT!!!

The set list is a little confuse for me now... but I'll give it a try, with NO SPECIFIC ORDER:

Maniac Dance (Opening Song),
Speed of Light,
Father Time,
United,
Land of Ice and Snow,
Destiny,
Black Diamond,
Against the Wind,
Will the sun rise,
Forever,
Legions,
Coming Home,
Twilight Symphony,
The Kiss of Judas
Lauri Porra did an EXCELLENT, INCREDIBLE AND SURPRISING BASS SOLO!!!!!
Hunting High and Low
Season of change

and I can't remember any other song! hahahaha I'm totally freaked out!

The band was PERFECT. There was 2 big screens on the stage where they played some videos they recorded doing some turistic touring in buenos aires, then every song had a special image on the screen.
For UNITED they did an incredible introduction about human rights, amazing and very very emotive.... sorry if I'm not being too much understandable but I'm still shocked!!!

Timo Kotipelto made his best singing since I'm a Stratovarius fan... he sang all the high notes and even higher than in the records, with no errors at all. Jens made an incredible job, better than ever.
Jorg and Lauri were great too..... and Timo Tolkki was simply GREAT, he's so much better than before. He seemed more relaxed and just happy to be there.... a big THANK YOU to Timo for coming back to life.

Once more, Stratovarius showed us why we can feel free to say they're just the best fucking power metal band on earth.

I love Stratovarius, more and more every day. Thank you Strato for this incredible night.

Fuck! I'm going to see them in Montreal for my birthday, but I would have liked to see them in my native city of Buenos Aires... I miss Obras.
