Look at my avatar! It's my humble creation!

What do you think about the change of the lily symbol?
Now it looks more metalic, golden, modern...
I like it, but I used to say "less is more"...

Cool. :)

I like the symbol regardless of the form it takes. Its simple, yet symbolicly means alot.
The fleur-de-lys is just nice--whether its on a Medieval shield, coat-of-arms, or a pattern in clothing.....its cool! :)

Members say that they just found the symbol cool and started using it. Lily has a lot of meanings, from the symbol of the french royal family to a little plant of the north of Canada. It also means prosperity, plus other things I don't remember.

Check the F.A.Q. at the official home.

Right, this flower was used by french kings as a symbol in the middle-age, and it's not a Lily but an Iris actually.
The Lily "Fleur de Lys" is different of the flower called "Lys". It was just named like this because of the king Louis VII of France..It wanted that sounds like "Fleur de Louis" (Flor de Loys). A sort of representation of the king...

The canadian symbol appeared only in 1948 on their flag.
