Just got Johansson - The Last Viking in the mail yesterday. Very cool cd! I've been looking for this cd for years and finally decided to order it on the internet. I highly recommend checking it out!

As for the line up:

Jens Johansson - Keys
Anders Johansson - Drums
Michael Romeo - Guitars and Bass
Goran Edman - Vocals

Great line up of musicians!

My son has this CD. We got it from CDBaby. It sounds pretty good. He wanted it out of curiosity because He heard from a couple of his friends&the 'net that Jens had made some dandy solo albums so, he got it.

It's a GREAT album. Everybody here should have it. It's a MUST.

Jens plays great and you'll also enjoy his composing.

You can't miss "IN THE MIRROR", "FORREST SONG", "CARRY ME"...

Goran Edman's vocals are also great. He is not pushed into his limits (just like in Malmsteen era), he sings in a slower range... and it sounds so cool, awesome voice.

Cool solos, a lot of beautiful melodies, and the swedish spirit of this two amazing brothers.

Don't download it. Buy it! It's really worthy.

I would if I could find it in record shops down here. But it seems it was only released in Scandinavia and f***ing Japan. So you have to mailorder them from there.

My top ten Jens Johansson list (I'm a big fan and yes, I've bought all of these)

1) Fission
2) Heavy Machinery
3) Fljada whatever "Featherless Bipeds"
4) All of Jens' Stratovarius songs/solos
5) Winterheart's Guild Solos
6) Last Viking
7)Benny Jansson Solos
8 ) Yngwie Era Material
9) Ten Seasons
10) Spastic Ink solo (just because it'd be awesome to hear him do full on solos throughout the next ink cd with Ron if he can handle it  No, I know he can handle it )

I was a Johansson freak before I was a Strato freak! 8) MH and TLV are both awesome! Try Ten Seasons for mellow piano stuff a bit like Keep the Flame in its mood. And Fjaderlosa Tvafotingar (with some umlauts) for totally weird Jens stuff. It's bloody hard to get hold of, though.. I got a taped copy years ago and haven't found it to buy (where postage is not more expensive than the CD, anyway..)

Jens! More weird stuff!

(Lauri's shit atoms?? He farted??)
