Stratovarius Community

after listening so much the new songs, i realized that the nextd video clip for stratovarius Should be UNITED, ... There isn't any other song with such good Energies, Good messages , representation of how its possible to fight for good, and raise from the bottom, raise from the worst moments of life.

maybe it would be necesary to cut one of the first chorus , just maybe ...but for me is not necesary because i like the song like it is.

well if you ask "and what would we see in the video??" , the answer is all the content said in the song, all the message that we recieve in audio ,make it even better in video+audio, and i think showing much more the band than in maniac dance, beacuse i was too flashy its dificult for the human eye to catch those flashy scenes from maniac d.

It would be interesting to show strato playing on an outside place ..very interesting



thats all, is only an idea, for the future when they finnish and rest from the TOUR.

I would vote for United and for Gypsy in Me. They both are very good songs... but imho we need something like United as a StratoClip... it's not the same as we could see in a row now.

To me, United is the only not-so-good song from new album. I don't like it very much. I think that new video could be Götterdämmerung (shorter version) or Fight. Other songs don't fit to music videos so well.

no other song on the new album could be better for a new single/video..
best video for this song would be a mixture of parts of live videos and some other stuff.. some live videos from the new album tour, of course

Well, nowadays making a video usually means the band/artist publishes a new single and at least now there haven´t been any news about the second single from Stratovarius-album. But I´ve no idea more.

TT said that Strato would start recording in April '06 and they have a long tour now.

In my opinion, the next video should be Leave The Tribe

But I think United is the most popular song of the album, so if Strato makes another video, it would definitely be United.

that's right, they don't have much time..
i was hoping that they would tour together with nightwish, cause it could be possible that they both would finish their new album in 2007, but after that tarja thing.. well we'll see

I can´t believe that. Kotipelto has said hundred times he´ll concentrate on making his third solo after this tour and Tolkki wants to compose the rock opera. So I´d guess Strato doesn´t start recording the next album in spring 2006 but in the beginning 2007 or sth like that.

I feel pretty sure there will not be any more videos from this album for the simple reason if any Vids are made they are usually all done approximately the same time! And that is right before a single of an album comes out.
Yea--I think the next album will be 2007 or late 2006 because there are the Solo projects, plus the History of Stratovarius DVD in 2006.

after i read about this "recording new album in 2006" i visited google, but strangely this website the topic was refering to was the only one who knew that..

A new clip would be very wise. And there's possibility for it imho.

not as Green Day.. they have released 4 clips for their american idiot album yet, i think, and atm they're making a 5th (jesus of suburbia)..
and they're making some cinema movie atm, too..

24 videos from a 9 songs album, plus, 3 movie-video and 3 live video and 8 singles. It's hilarious.

bad idea to make singles of songs from the half tracklist of the album but a second clip wouldn't be bad. I agree with United! (or Fight! - a clip on a battlefield with manowar behind the cam )

United or Fight has the votes from most FANS, and I think, for the first time (err, second time) Stratovarius should shoot a video for the most liked song by the FANS, not by those, who just like Stratovarius, but are not that big fanatics.

We need understand also that behind videos, DVD's, albums there's a record company that hmmm, "control" these things.

You also have to remeber that Stratovarius ends up paying for the videos, not the Record company. Its the way things work in the business, The band indirectly ends up paying for any expense the record compnay has to make.

well , a video like United ... i think should include scenes from them playin in many countries, with all the fans , and some High cuality playing , like on a hill that is on the shore, like some beaches in many countries, ("like chile") with some wind and thunder ("just like the lyrics say!")....and sunshine on the final chorus. and of course some especial content on the beginning or the end about all the human kind situation.

its only my imagination and if i had the money to do it , i would definetly do it.

well... you only need windows movie editor (or an equivalent) and its just a matter of grabbing some material and edititing to the song, its not THAT hard...

hm.. cool idea.. well.. i got some professional video editing tools here and i do have enough material

well, you are right, but i was talking of meking video with a good level of production, have the strato guys next to me and record them on a green background, then put some especial efects for the wind and thunder, etc, etc..


anyway, making a home-video is always good, i've done that for pc games.

I can see your point in this one; It'll be a video of all of us UNITED. Would be very emotional for Stratofans, and, because of the song and lyrics, maybe for others, too. Yes, I'd like to see it done by Stratovarius with clips from different stages, where all people are united...
