Did you notice it? There are going to be exactly 14 diamonds, if Strato breaks up after the contract ends with Sanctuary.

I know, that this topic won't live for too long, as it hasn't got too much more information, just this notice, but I'd like to hear your opinions though.

Well, I´d say this is just a funny topic. Strato could have also 14 albums after the Sanctuary deal but the Japanese compilation is just for the 14 songs. The only thing I´d say for sure is that we´ll see that.

To IceBreaker, 14 Diamonds is a Russian compilation. The japanese one is Past & Now.


Anyway, I don't think Infinite or Destiny can be called "diamonds"...

Anyway, I don´t like Destiny, but I´ve noticed that there is a different version of Kiss of Judas on 14 Diamonds than in Visions. A bit better IMHO.

So MaFiaBoY: I have the 14 Diamonds in my collection and it´s as Japanese as it can be.

Pete, you are really smart&observant to think of this! It was said by TT before all the stuff of the past took place that after the 3 contracted albums under Sanctuary took place that Strato would maybe retire&yes, there would be 14 albums to their credit! But, I don't think this was a grand plan or anything. No. of albums same as the album name.
BTW, I have the album(compilation)14 Diamonds, and it is very good!

For me Destiny is one of the most boring epic Strato songs. There are just lots of more interesting stuff made, like Infinity, Season of Change, Visions or United. But that´s just my opinion.

Destiny is one of Strato's best songs - of all times!!! Well, opinions differ...

Nice compilation those 14 Diamonds, by the way, I've never heard of it before. Good tracklist. Chosen ones was only kind of a collection of the singles, and some other stuff. Full moon, *lol*, I still wonder why they put that one on Chosen Ones.

It was told once why in this Forum. I think they HAD to put that song on the album. It was meant for Dreamspace, I think, but there wasn't room for it, however the contract with record company said it had to be used, so Full Moon was placed on the compilation. I need to find that source, but thats pretty much why Full Moon was on "The Chosen Ones" Who chose it?

It seems unlikely. I mean, if there was anough space on the jap edition, why not on others ? Perhaps they didn't want to spoil a great album with this and they only gave it too poor japs

they should have put a song from the fright night album (future shock) on 14 diamonds instead of this Full Moon :yuk:

but the first half of destiny is just great.. the rest of the song is really boring, but that first half..

Same goes for Infinity (with equally cheesy lyrics).

Well, nice to see that there is also some other ppl who don´t like Destiny much or just like the half song. For me Visions is the third best epic one, btw.

why do you expect only 14 strato albums? Is it because of the title of compilation '14 diamonds' ? well, I'd prefer to find amount of their albums in other title: 4000 rainy nights
