Strato on TV.

...according to the homepage.

Anyone see the prog? What songs did they play?
The future is bright, and there's hope in the air,
Together we're singing, together we care.

I believe on the mainpage it said they performed "The Land of Ice and Snow" and "United".

@Equinox: I'd love it if they showed it in the US! \m/

I saw it. It wasn't very good. Sound sucks and Koti didn't sing well... The Land of Ice and Snow was good but United was just very boring. Shame.

just read the news in finnish. Apparently, those 2 songs were a part of a big show with many other ("GOOD!") bands, for the children of Africa.
Too bad I didn't know about that show before, Someone could have recorded it for me!

Yeah, it´s very sad that Kotipelto had those problems (flu, his back) to the same time. I´m pretty sure they caused his not-so-good singing. :(

Yeah, I think "United" is one of the less "interesting" songs musically. But don't get me wrong, I love the message and I'm glad Tolkki wrote it. And it seems fitting to play it as well. =)

That's good they're doing something for the children of Africa. *shrugs* That comment sounded pretty lame! But I'm serious. =)

I'd heard about Koti's sciatic problems. But his back? Oh, no! What happened? Hopefully a minor issue. (I know how that goes . . .)

Actually he had only sciatic problems, as I could know, but he used that "back-problem" term in his guestbook.

I have some problems with sciatica which is what I assume people must be referring too. It's annoying but usually not terrible and it can get better. Here's a little explanation if you really want to know. I'm sure it's annoying for Timo, but it's not the end of the world, just to put your mind at ease. :)
Sciatica—pain along the large sciatic nerve that runs from the lower back down the back of each leg—is a relatively common form of low back pain and leg pain.
Sciatica occurs most frequently in people between 30 and 50 years of age. Often a particular event or injury does not cause sciatica, but rather it may develop as a result of general wear and tear on the structures of the lower spine. The vast majority of people who experience sciatica get better with time (usually a few weeks or months) and find pain relief with non-surgical treatments.

I liked the show. Stratofanius, I understand if you don't like United but those songs were awesome! :) Sound was ok, I don't see any reason to complain about it.

Yes, TK had some problems to sing the high parts of the songs, but in my opinion he sang amazingly.
