Newish to Strat...

Greetings, I'm fairly new to Stratovarius, and absolutely new to this board. I have Fright Night, Visions, Destiny and Infinite. I like all of them. My favourites are probably Fright Night and Visions.
Does anyone have any advice on which release should be the next one I slap some of my hard-earned onto?

If you like TT vocals: Dreamspace!
Or, EPISODE would be a great choice, also.

Welcome...
I recommend Episode, Twilight Time and Fourth Dimension.

All of them of course, but next Episode, coz it´s their best album (IMHO).

Or if you like the new way, then the new Stratovarius-album.
If you like Tolkki on vocals, then Twilight Time, on that album he sings very good.

LOL, okay you are Quote nowfrom.
BTW, I think you should pic Episode as next one. You can find so many big hits on that album. It's a must (every album is a must

).

Episode, Fourth Dimension, Stratovarius, Elements 1, Dreamspace, Elements 2 and Twilight Time... in that order but they are ALL a must!

I agree with these guys.
My first love is Destiny, but Fourth Dimension and Dreamspace are my next favorites. Episode does have all the "big hits" (as you'll notice from Visions of Europe). The musicality of that album is just brilliant. And lyrics, too!
While I LOVE the newest album, maybe you should get those others first, based on where you're coming from.
Rock on! \m/

IMO Visions is their best album, and Episode comes next, so I'd say Episode.

I know most people hate them, but i like the Elements set, just don't buy their latest self-titled album.

yeah. IMO elements 1 isn't that good, 2 is okay. But the new album kicks ass!! It just lacks some faster songs, but you find those on every other album.

Well, I say, if you have the money then buy ALL of their albums. If I had more money, I would buy albums from other bands too. Now I have only some nonStratoAlbums.

i started with episode, but i'd recommend Visions and then Episode and then the whole rest..
but be careful, the old albums with tolkki as singer sound a bit different..

Thank you all for the great advice. I'm about 99% certain I will end up getting them all anyway, but I think I'll go with Episode from what has been said here.
I was a little surprised when I got Fright Night (the most recent one I got) but I still really like that sound. I've heard that Tolkki has not done vocals at all since Dreamspace, is this correct? If so, it's a shame because he's a good singer.

It justs sound too techno and cheesey for me. It's not like the old Strato *sigh*

The Fourth Dimension is an outstanding album, too! Galaxies, We Hold the Key, Against the Wind, plus the infamous 303066! Lots to offer on this album, plus its TKs debut!

Hymn to Life
And, yes, he is a very good singer.

VISIONS OF EUROPE!! Amazing live album.
And don't forget the new Stratovarius.
From the old era I like all of them, I'd buy Twilight Time
and Dreamspace first.
