I think it's going to be only dvd.
So you children of the world, listen to what I say
If you want a better place to live in, spread the words today
Show the world that love is still alive, you must be brave
Or you children of today are children of the grave

I thought the new DVD will be released at the end of Septembe 2005 but this is already past and we have nor DVD nor Live-album....

On the concert, I recognised any microphones in front of the stage but I don't know if they were used by Hammerfall or Strato. Possibility for Strato is higher - HF has released a Live album any months ago.

This is the last news I have. Hope somebody has more news

I think he was talking about the Sao Paulo DVD, which was recored in Sao Paulo. I don't think that Strato will release two live albums for their new tour. And HammerFall aren't going to release any new live album soon.

I can't see any sense to release also cd because we have already Visions of Europe which has nearly same songs. Dvd is maybe worth of buying, but if they make a live album of it, I'm not going to buy.

I thought the DVD was going to be out in April 2006? ??? Hope so, because the hopes for the Milan-Live DVD were bashed. :(
Maybe this next proposed one will pan out. I think it will be great! :rvd:

It depends mostly on Jens:
Jens on Tour Diary wrote:After this Euro leg ends in early December everyone (except for me) will be on break for a few weeks before we hit Asia. If everything goes as planned, I have some transferring and editing chores to do for the São Paulo DVD that we recorded on August 27 this year.

Well, well...I saw that a roadie filmed the show (the band playing and the fans in the crowd) in Toulouse. I don't know if it was for only the screens on the stage but I'm sure these short movies will appear on the new DVD as bonus footages. That's surely why the DVD has not been released yet.

At the UK show there was someone filming during the Strato set, didn't look like he filmed much though.

Well maybe it was to do some short clips of the show and the fans to put them on the upcoming DVD? :)

Live DVD movie. That's for fucking sure. Maybe some add ons, like backstage videos etc.

All this info is making me even more anxious for the live DVD. Sounds fantastic if all that footage is going to be on it! :headbang: I still got the $20 put away for the DVD! :D

Yes...

At this new dvd we seems to have THREE new songs... (the extras may change the situation however): Maniac Dance, The Land of Ice and Snow and United.
Maiden's live albums have nearly always something new: Life After Death was their first and it includes songs that Maiden don't play usually, A Real Live Dead One and Live at Donnington has both some new songs from Fear of the Dark/No Prayer for the Dying, Rock In Rio has nearly all new songs from Brave New World and Death on the Road has many songs from Dance of Death... well, of course some songs are ALWAYS there (TNOTB, Run to the Hills, Trooper, Hallowed be thy Name) and even they're imho a little overrated they're just classic stuff :)
Well, maybe they have some live records too much, but I can say that Live After Death and Maiden England are best live records which I have heard/saw.

A long explanation of shit...

Well, with a little bit of tweaking you can always rip the audio from the DVD so it is like a CD. I did it for every live DVD I have.

On the Internet you can always find these DVD rips in 700 or 2*700 MiB formats. Guess, the Infinite Visions can be found in 700MiB too.

I think the question was about a live audio-CD (like VoE) tu put in your car CD player or mp3 or whatever. So the answer is, even if it is not released, you can rip the DVD with just the audio and burn it on a CD or do whatever you want with it. It works very well, I did it with all my live DVDs so I don't hae to buy twice the same thing :p

About the new DVD:

Timo: We’ve filmed a live DVD in São Paulo. I don’t know when it will come out. Jens is supposed to work on it, about the pictures... Timo (Tolkki) should mix the sound after. But for the moment, we don’t have any time cause we’re on the tour.

So not a lot of news for the moment so the best way is to wait and see!

I hope the new DVD comes out soon. Infinite Visions was great, but it was really more candid footage of the band over the years. It was not a technical "live" DVD, where they set out to film a particular show or tour and make it really professional-looking. So I'd like to see a Strato DVD that showcases their live performances because really, they are such an awesome band live that it's almost a crime that they don't have a DVD of their live show out already.

And I still hope for the Milan Live DVD too. I think, there still would be many many fans buying that DVD. But I bet the São Paulo Live DVD comes first, maybe in spring? Then They are going to work on a lot of other projects including the new album (which seems to be coming out in 2007). So the Milan DVD will be the most waited StratoStuff, if it ever comes out (is there anybody here, who has heard about Duke Nukem Forever? 8) ).

It would be great if it was a Double DVD--you know, the Sao Paulo stuff, etc. Then, maybe a seperate shorter one with the Live in Milan show. I'd pay an extra 5 or 10 bucks for it! :)
