Stratovarius Community

Eh? Aprils Fool day is tomorrow, not today

Well, I think when Jens leaves the band the whole band quits. Jens (according to his posts and interviews) has no meaning to leave the band now..

Django would take care of everything. of course, in a rotten way.

Nothing personal, Stratowarius, but that's a bad joke. And, if you are serious, I don't believe we won't to even think about that possibility.
Things seem to be going good now--let's not think depressing thoughts!

If Jens left the band (I know that he never won't), I would apply for the place of keyboardist in the band.

In my opinion, if Jens would leave someday Strato (which hopefully doesn't ever happen) they shouldn't hire new keyboardist... they shoud continue just with guitar, bass, vocals and drums...

Hehe, yes of course. But, I must have time to record some keys... Maybe this summer I'll post some mp3 here.

I dont think stratovarius would ever really be stratovarius ever again if jens or one of the timos left, it seems to me that those three make stratovarius what it is?

That was the same which happened with Iron Maiden : when A.Smith and B.Dickinson left the band, and J.Gers and B.Bailey came in, I couldn't feel the same aura, the same atmosphere, brought by the songs... And I think it would be the same with Stratovarius if one member, even Jörg, would leave the band...

I happend to be at the Musicmesse in Frankfurt and I recognized Jens there. He talked very much with a person that represents a very big band so I just got worried and wondered what is going on.. .

that's too risky, specially because the band achieved a particular and disctintive sound that became familiar to our ears. Plus, "Legions", "Black Diamond" and many many other songs would be hard to perform on stage...or what do you suggest? sample tapes? nah... , that would be soooo Rhapsody
I think if Jens quits, there'll be too many guys to replace him, but the problem is that the band would lose the coolest guy, the charismatic one...and i don't want to imagine what would happend to many fans

That ain't mean Jens is about to quit Stratovarius, remember that he is frequently requested by many bands to support them in studio, projects, etc, etc...

But IF Jens would like to decided retire strato in some day, then the band just should end their career at that time. Strato couldn´t be the same without Jens, Tolkki or Kotipelto...

Jari never maked a song for Stratovarius or didn't help in the composition of the bass...He only played the bass for Stratovarius.

I have to understand that in the next album all the members of strato will write a song.
