This is not yet confirmed on the Strato tour page but this is now on the B.B. Kings, NYC show calendar:
STRATOVARIUS
Featuring:
Special Guests
2006-10-02
8:00PM
Tickets go on sale on 04/18/06

and on Jaxx site in Springfield, VA:
Stratovarius
Sunday, October 1st
Stratovarius have only 5 North American dates on this tour. Don't miss a rare opportunity to see these Finnish power metal legends.

I guess we can't assume it's definite until it appears on their site, but the tickets are going on sale next week. Anyone with more info?

I hope this is not an April 1st joke. :D I guess everything gets a second chance a second time around, but once again I'm not holding my breath. ;)

Wouldn't be much of a joke.
I'm thinkin it'll happen, I saw this from another news source (although not a hugely credible one)

I guess I have time to make sure I have some time off---if this is not a rumor. ;) I just wish they were coming further South---if a big star like Alice Cooper can come to Huntsville, Strato can at least come to Nashville! :D

Hope your wishes come true! That's my birthday month as well, would be great!

Does Nashville get many metal shows? Gotta be tough living in a country mecca. How far is it to Springfield, VA?

Hell yeah, it looks like my birthday month is gonna be chock-full of great shows. Queensryche is playing in L.A. on my birthday, I'd love to go to that. And if Strato shows up a few days later, give or take, that would be incredible. Although anyone who knows me, knows that this is a LOT coming from me---I'd forsake Queensryche if I had to in order to see more Strato.

VA is about 3 states to the North&then, 2 States to the East! :D Not that far, actually. :)
There are lots of Metal fans in AL&TN--more than you'd think. Lots of ands come to Huntsville, Florence, and Birmingham on their tours--even IM came here a couple times in their history. Ozy has, Yngwie, etc. We are not a bunch of fuddy-duddys here. :D Lots of cool Metal people who enjoy Metal music. :) And all that goes with it! ;)

Oh, just some 16-year-old goth girl said she left her dignity&bra on the StratoTour Bus, and she was pleading that if they ever came back to Winnipeg, Canada to bring her bra back. I just thought it was ironically funny. ;) I have my own reasons. :D
I guess when a person loses their dignity, it's no use asking for THAT back!

16 years old...I guess that's pathological. Not from her side, though.

Greg Allman was shagging Savannah(the porn star-RIP) when she was just 15, so some people just do not care, I guess. Musicians(as a rule) can get away with anything, anyway! =P ;) It's like an unspoken gospel! :D
But, from what I hear, the ROADIES are the ones having the most fun! =P :headbang:
I just hope that kid does not venture aboard the Motley Crue Bus! :red:

The gig was only 4 days after my birthday.
Technically, the gigs I went to were both 4 & 5 days after my birthday, but I had been saving for them for a long time and knew that was how I was going to spend my birthday. I told anyone who was thinking of getting me a gift to either save their money or help me with my Strato fund!

But it was all worth it, the band put on two consecutive nights of excellent shows and Timo K. gave me a birthday hug.

By dignity you mean virginity?

And guess, why I was considering becoming a crew member of Stratovarius. :D Just think about it, listening to Stratovarius all the time, having good talks with them and with the crew members, and having to give back bras to poor little girls. :P

A few guitar lessons would not hurt ;) Plenty of little, blue-eyed blondes just waiting on ya! :D

Oh, dignity does not mean virginity--it just means decency, I guess. ???
