This sounds totally insane, but I had a premonition as far back as a couple months ago that Jenn was "the one".

She is a very talented lady with a wonderful classical voice. I've listened and downloaded her recordings she linked at Nightwish.com board during the past 7-8 months since she auditioned for the Nightwish vocalist job last year. Keeping an eye on Timo's and her myspace accounts for the last few moths has given some hints about what's been going on.

This Saana-opera is shaping up to be a great CD! Maybe we can see it live some day, wouldn't that be something!!!

Thats one reason why I got the gut feeling it was her!

Jenn is the perfect girl for that role , she really has a very beautiful voice and she is very nice person . Congratulations Jenn :ola:

Oh, I think I have learned already. ;)Updated my website a little bit since it was found, haha. Few things don't seem to work yet but I am working on it- I was not blessed with computer skills.

Interesting update from TT MySpace:

"...The last round of casting for the characters of Saana is on its way. It means I have to do some travelling in the next weeks to come. Still writing the story too. All I can say that what I am doing has never been done before in music and in lyrics. I could easily write 20 Stratovarius styled songs and invite some known guests and call that "rock opera". But I don´t wanna do anything like that. Saana will be something totally different, both musically and lyrically. I call this a Classic Rock Opera and you will know why. To me this is like a film turned to music. And maybe one day, someone makes a film about this. The story would fit....perfectly.
I was in touch with ex Strato, current Mess bass player Jari Kainulainen and asked him to play the bass on this one and he said sure. I am happy because he is one of the best bassplayers in the world."

Hey Jenny, congratulations for being the Saana character, I'm really glad for you! You are a really good singer!

Concerning the news that Jari will play on the project, I was kinda surprised by that, but I think it's a great thing. Jari is an amazing bass player... far underrated! Btw, Mess is a really good band, with uncredibly talented musicians (Jari, but also Elias Viljanen and Tuple Salmela), I'm quite surprised that they still hadn't signed any record deal...

There are many great male metal opera singers to leave them totally out of the cast, but TT knows whats best, I guess.
