That picture really sucks, although it's somehow telling the truth. But there are far worse things in this world than a "dying band".

I completely agree with your assessment. There are a lot of serious problems that everyone is facing- with rising food prices being only one. As I've mentioned before, all of these guys will go on to new projects, many of which I am certain will rock. It's not as if they are dropping off the face of the earth.

Band drama is nothing new- the Beatles went though it in the '60's, Sabbath and Deep Purple in the '70's, Van Halen in the 80's, Queensryche in the '90s and so on, etc. It seems like that regardless of the lineup of most groups- there's always that one person that has to go and screw everything up. That's life.

with those members on it only it should say 1996 0r 2005 not 1984. it would need to have the other guys with the strange finnish names on it to be more accurate. pouri practicly only had a couple of years since i dont count 2007 as a active band if they only do 7 concerts and kotipelto does his own cd while tolkki does his own cd.

everyone is entitled to their opinion and that's perfectly fine, however in my opinion I believe that the band will go on, regardless of who's going to be in the band.

Remember pink floyd faced a similiar situation when david gilmour decided to keep the band going and roger waters was against it.

Yeah, thats true, icecab21. :)

I didn't like how the pic broke apart the name like that, but since I'm computer&photoshop illiterate, who am I to judge! :D

That's also my opinion and I think that next Strato-version will be amazingly good for many people.

You left out the "Kat-woman"! ;)

Yes, that tombstone looks better, as far as looks, but the message is still the same. :(

Sad, horrible and nasty image. Somebody wanted to make a bad joke that has no fun at all.Remember that we don't know what's going to happen. All we have are positive and good news

At least Mormegil did not put "Rest in Peace" on his creation. That means there's hope! :)
And, I believe Stratovarius, in name as well as spirit, will continue! :)

since stratovarius does have a rest in peace song lol

I've been searching for an oasis
In the desert for so long
To pretend I'm strong
In my weakness trying

I've been holding on
To things that I have left behind
I've been scared and lonely
I'm crippled inside.

Bathing my soul in the starlight
Healed my wounds in the sun
Screamed my pain to the forest
Asking the question why?

Will there come a time for me when I find peace of mind
Will I always have this feeling like I'm last in the line
I will climb up the mountain and light up a candle and ask:
"Will my soul ever rest in peace?"

I've been washed in pain
Haunted by the ghosts of years ago
They won't leave me be
They keep coming back for more

Will there come a time for me when I find peace of mind
Will I always have this feeling like I'm last in the line
I will climb up the mountain and light up a candle and ask:
"Will my soul ever rest in peace?"

My crippled soul is yearning to be free.
