That sounds absolutely GREAT!
In a few seconds, more energy (and more Stratovarius.....) than in the entire "Stratovarius" self titled album :D

Matias, that was the second most epic ending to a solo I've ever heard. It was almost like the ending to the Razor's Edge solo.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSdoTlJK ... re=related
now this solo starting at 34 seconds is so perfect i hope some of this type gets used

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_BbIyTc ... re=related and this whole thing

great ideas here and this will make for some mighty fine solo spots

for some reason the words agressive and progressive lead me to think of bands like meshuggah. good to know that is not the case lol. of course that statement said "more" so i had to check the how much more

I hope "Heavier & more progressive" means something like death or dark metal with clean vocals. :)

It's funny Jens, your entire career you have been known for working with Metal Gods like Yngwie, Dio, and Timo Tolkki. You've always been upstaged with the three main bands you are known for, so it's really nice to see that you finally will get recognition, not only for your incredible keyboard skills, but as a very good song writer.

Also, Matias seems very good. I can't really judge him since I haven't heard any material with the guys, but he is technically very talented.

I am, however, afraid of this more "Progressive" approach. Only because of TK's vocals. Obviously he has a brilliant voice (and is my favorite metal singer next to Ronnie James Dio and Fabio Leone), but the songs where I've heard him sing more "aggressively", it has sounded very awkward.
