Stratovarius Community

The name of the new album? It is about time a band let the fans do something innovative. I would like to see people allowed to pick song titles too... And while we are at it... Maybe submit a song or 2 for you to play. Songwriters are out there hiding in their homes... Waiting for a band such as Stratovarius to play their stuff... But I am getting ahead of myself. Ok, as for my picks for the next new album.

now what I would love is, since all those reviewers at metal archives and youtube are the perfect songwriters and can play the perfect music of pure perfection, would be a website for people to post their perfect compositions. That or band contests where the band picks a few fan songs to play or make an album out of. Some production work could be made out of that and it could be educational and help some causes.

New Era would have been a good name for the album but RR already used it.

Lousy idea if ya ask me but everyone has their own opinions.

Well, its just mainly for fun. I don't think the band or anyone else is going to take these suggestions too seriously.

I remember for months we all tried to guess what RR stood for&only 1 person came close, and that guess was still pretty far off. So, we can have alittle fun with it.

Oh, in case you are wondering, though its none of your business. I took COUGAR as a nick when I received the dreaded "moderator bug" and I had to go undercover for a couple days. I have to admit, it was fun to pretend I was actually someone important here a couple days! I know it does not mean shit to anybody, but I've been here 6 years this Friday! And, a fan even much much longer, and I know that means nothing, either.Especially from an old lady like myself.

that would be cool to have a songwriting section here and maybe sometimes have band members check them out and help us out. that and or a section for stratovarius cover songs and variations of these classic themes

I've been thinking about the possibility that we the fans can decide or pick, not only the song names or album titles.

Without fans there can be no bands.
Stratovarius, or Strato, that has to be it, IMO.

Of the first post only Corrupted soundwaves sounds like a decent name.

I'll myself make up some names up when I have the time.

For me the interactive songwriting would be the coolest way to get fans involved. That would be cool to have a website set up for collaboration and then have famous bands willing to contribute to that website. The website could cover all sorts of thing such as helping people find band mates and bands find labels. There could be contests for themes and lots of categories and award systems. I guess that would just be a myspace like community site dedicated to musical features and using multiple media sources for interaction. Part of it could be the ability to work on a musical program together with others.

The cover for the album could be this: :party:
